I hope this gets a lot of views. This is the only way I do it. The hardest part is remembering the heat shrink first! Kinda like flaring a brake line and then you notice the fitting on the bench😢. 😂

Very informative....don't undercut yourselves...you know alot more than most...not too many have built a engine or a car from nothing...I never have. The haters are just unhappy people. Yes your channel is very entertaining..but there is alot we can learn from you guys

This is the exact way I was taught. I usually ignore any other instructions and do everything this way because I've fixed faulty butt connectors with this method and had them last a decade as opposed to months

My dad taught me to solder when I was a kid. I got better at it building electric guitars but the heat shrink and uninsulated connections is new info to me. I appreciate it!

Austin nice video , ask Jon senior if he could repair a msd digital - 6 plus ignition box pn 6520 . I accidentally left the ground wire off and possibly burnt up a ic .

many times to heat the wire enough to melt the solder the insulation on the wire melts first, what am I doing wrong

If you use electronics grade solder, it's got the flux embedded into the wire, aka Rosin-core

Your car still sits to high all over get her down a few inches . Looks stupid sitting that high all over . It will handle better than being jacked at the rear . Your letting way to much air under it 😡 down the track .
