😮Bu güçlü ders❤I’ve seen others talk about parts of your lesson and I’ve deduced other parts of your lesson, but it was spread across two years. You explained so much information in one 14-minute lesson. You provided so much clarity that I was missing.

1. a silly question. "last night" is "gecen gece". could we also say "dun gece"? 2. as i understand, "cagir" and "ara" are both translated as "call" but they are actually different in meaning. but how do we know which one it is in the sentence? for example, when we say "he called me", how do we know which "call" it is to use?
@LearnTurkishvia
@LearnTurkishvia 2 года назад
1- Both are ok but "dün gece" is better. 2- If it's a phone call then we use "ara". - Her haftasonu ailemi ararım. - I (phone) call my family every weekend. If it's like you call/summon someone to somewhere then we use "çağır". - My mother called me to the kitchen and asked me to wash the dishes. - Annem beni mutfağa çağırdı ve bulaşıkları yıkamamı istedi.

Hello i Watch a lot of your videos. I have a question. As a German native speaker i struggle a lot with Turkish sentence order. You have a really useful Video about it where you say Subjekt time Location object Verb. Do you have another Video about this ? Would it also be correct to say: Ben her zaman seni seveceğim ? Also: when you have two Verbs in a sentence, which one is at the end ? For example i like to Dance Is it Like or Dance at the end? I Need a few more rules for the Basic sentence Order Thank hocam

Merhabalar. Your sentence follows the regular word order rule: Ben her zaman seni seveceğim. Subject time object verb You can check the video lesson below to see how we use 2 verbs in a sentence: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ojcRDvv1ats.htmlsi=NmiBT9-5IfZgqq0Y

@@LearnTurkishviaI’m very curious about your word structure video. I saw other websites say subject object, verb, but this person says that you teach subject, time, object, verb. After I read that sentence, then I realized that it was a pattern-thank you. Now I would like to see other patterns of yours. Could you please provide the link to word structure video?

In these last examples, for this grammar point, ki plays a role as a suffix which makes reference to what was previously mentioned? as to not be redundant?

Merhaba Hocam Ama bir kaleme işaret edip benim olduğunu nasıl söylersem Bu benim yoksa bu benimki, because there is not any noun in the sentence.
@LearnTurkishvia
@LearnTurkishvia 2 года назад
If there is only your pencil then you can say "Bu benim" but if there are a lot of pens and you want to distinguish yours then you can say "Bu benimki".

Teacher, why is it 'Onlar bize bir davetiye gondermedi' in the 4th example, but not 'Babam onlara kargoyu geri gonderdi' in the 6th example? Thanks
