Learn how to hop your bike a full wheelbase forward with this tutorial - this move is a hard one to find and even harder to explain all the nuances, but I think we hit all of the main points here. I broke the wheelbase hop movement down into four sections: bike, body, brake and pedal.
The best part is that this movement builds on all the elements that you practiced on the Lunge tutorial that we put out a few weeks ago. Here's a link to that video if you want to check it out: • Jump Your Bike! (Up To...

This channel is a godsend to beginners. Wish it was around a few years back when I was learning my trials skills.

Amazing details! If a company builds a "Super Rider" signature street trials bike, I'll buy it. Just saying! Thanks for the tutorial.

Day 2 of asking for a handlebar/stem length video or 'short' even. Another great idea of mine (😊) is making A Tree of Skill, with the most fundamental moves at the base and then branching out into branches composed or similar moves but with increasing moves. Heck, I will even help withf the graphical part if needed 😇 Cheers 🤙🕺

Great idea! Come join us in the Discord channel (linked in the description of the video) - there are a ton of factors and I want to make sure we answer your question. Our Discord crew has been working on a skill tree, too, and your design knowledge might be the final piece to the puzzle!

How do I relate this to my mountain bike activity? I have observed mtb tech trail riding video's using the hop to overcome obstacles. You are the only one that i I could find that teaches the technique.

Perfect timing! Start with this video that came out today, then come back to this one - it's the next step that builds on the original technique: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TtaTAzSPQQw.html

Awesome! If you were looking for a street trials bike, I’d suggest a 24” bike. If you wanted to go competition style, you might consider a mod bike (20”). What style of riding are you planning to learn? Either way - you are in the right place, thanks for being here!

Thanks for this great tutorial, but can you just say a little bit more about the break technic for this bike move? Thanks in advance....

Perfect timing as I've been trying to figure out this move myself (along with getting better at the lunge). It seems so natural when you do it but feels super awkward when I try it. Something about dropping my chest to the bars. I noticed you have one tanwall Ikon on the rear wheel. Why not the front too? I just picked up a set for my Hex and plan on going tubeless as I keep pinching the rear.

@SuperRiderTV 2 года назад
Right on - a lot of the crew on Twitch have been working on this one as well, that’s what prompted it. Takes a bit to put all those four elements together, but once you’ve got it, it becomes automatic! Truthfully, I could only find one Ikon at the time (I was pinching and wanted to upgrade the back wheel - added a Tannis liner in there too). Will update the front tire soon!

crazy upper body strength needed to do this as a beginner 😣 please Im running 24 cogs front and 12 in back, I need my bike for commuting. what are you running!?
@SuperRiderTV
@SuperRiderTV Год назад
Think about it like you’re moving the bike from behind you to in front of you. So many people focus on trying to push the bike forward, which is harder. If your body position is forward on the bike and you pull it forward to adjust, it’s easier to do it. I hope that makes sense! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Does it take lots of strength to lift the bike up and forwards?
@SuperRiderTV
@SuperRiderTV Год назад
It’s mostly technique - using the momentum is the key, instead of your strength.
