Loon is pushing the pushchair and doesn’t want to give Humf a turn. She tells him he has to say “please” or people won’t like him. So Humf says “please” and Loon gives him a turn, but she’s not very happy about it. In the end they decide it’s best to push the pushchair together.
One night Humf’s Mum and Dad were going out. Uncle Hairy was going to come to look after Humf but was running late so Flora looked after him instead. Humf wasn’t sure if he wanted Flora to read his bedtime story but when he heard her silly voices he was very happy.
Humf and Loon were playing dressing up. Loon wore her swimming ring and her mum even blew it up for her. They had lots of fun playing in the garden and in Loon’s room but needed Loon’s Mum’s help when Loon got stuck under the bed!
Humf is a furry thing. He is short and round and purple and cuddly. At three years old Humf is full of wonder at the world, and is always eager to explore the new things he sees around him. Humf knows what the questions are, even if the answers take a little longer to find.
