You know, there was a deleted ending to Avengers Endgame where Iron Man beat Thanos without sacrificing himself. Cap asks him “how did you do that?” Tony responds: “FIRST HIT DIAGONAL. THEN HIT UP. THEN HIT DIAGONAL. THEN HIT UP. AAAAAAAAH”
@@masterbj1990 The 7 extra seconds of the full intro isn't what pushed it over the 10 minute mark though. The video it self is 10:35, with the shortened intro it would've been 10:28 ish.
On one hand I love how much effort Max puts into getting high quality equipment and now he has a crystal clear camera, but part of me will miss the hella grainy zoom-ins on Max's face lol.
@@schifferu you have sinned and have sentenced yourself to eternal damnation, may your soul one day be purified and your past misgivings pardoned, amen.
Gordon Ramsay eh some infinites can and should be bannable. This one and the ones in UMVC3, probably not since there’s some required set ups and skill. Then you have Melee Icies, the most basic, toxic, and least interesting infinite backed by people like Chudat.
This is before the days of Skullgirls. I think almost every character in X-Men Children of the Atom had an infinite. That’s the first time I heard of infinites.
raggaeldestro None is then are easy to do or setup It’s a myth they were easy or just done all the time. Gambit was the only easy one anyone could do. It was always high level stuff to the highest degree.
People who moan about OP characters in fighting games need to realise that iron man, a character that can touch of death any character in the game with ease, still isn't taken over Storm or sentinel in the majority of cases.
Christopher Kendall Because it’s very hard to setup and without a assist only the best players can create and do the infinite with solo iron man. People have no idea how hard it is with no assists at all. He struggled in many areas and he’s much harder to play. This is like a situational infinite ♾ that people assume is easy to play him. Good luck killing storms and fighting her
Joseph Andreuccetti not really. Iron man can confirm into assist really easily. The reality is all the top tiers that aren’t cable have such absurd movement and space control you literally can’t compete.... Unless you’re cable who despite being honest af and having mediocre movement has such good zoning area denial and conversions that even the top 3 have to respect him. Iron man just doesn’t have the movement options to truly compare. He’s just got great damage and assist. It also doesn’t help he’s reliant on either psylocke ore cyclops assist to maximize damage so that’s only 1 top 4 your picking.
Joseph Andreuccetti also this is mvc2. The entire point of this game is to make sure you keep everyone alive as long as you can. Solo man is no where near as bad as solo commando or solo doom.
Some Dude With a Scarf no. 3d mk has rules in place explicitly banning infinite’s, only allowing two reps of the string per combo. It would stand to reason that a long time mk fan would assume that infinites would be tourney banned.
@@Neogears1312 I don't think a 3D mk player would care about another game having infinites. IDK to me it just sounds like the person is new to fighting games. You know those people who say are "spamming combos" or call zoning spam
"I feel like I should always be holding up+forward for this one" - that was the exact moment I had when I finally was able to do it consistently. Just hold up+forward and do the button reps, and all you gotta worry about at that point is hit timing. It makes you jump perfectly
I love that out of every fighting character ever, it was Iron Man who has one of the most OP and famous infinite combos, very fitting considering the character.
I had a guy teach me way back in the day. He taught me using Juggernaut as the assist, using the ground pound. It ended up being a ton easier setting it up using Psylocke as you are. But with Juggernaut, he has to be on the second assist, you double tap both light kick and the assist while holding down, then dash and jump into the first hit. Psylocke makes that much easier because she causes much less distance in the pop up
My local Walmart had a MvC2 machine and I used to love practicing this infinite on the kids that would come through. It was good for learning how to land it on moving targets.
When you get to the corner, in addition alternating between neutral and diagonal jumping, the last jump needs to be a neutral jump (perhaps even 2 neutral jumps) to get the right spacing for the HP --> Proton Cannon to combo.
I remember playing this on the 360 and I figured out a Spiderman/Ironman(assist) combo that basically kept the character locked in one spot. I forget the button pattern but it was a little tough because you'd have to short hop as Spiderman to attack from above and then drop down quickly before the assist ends to attack from under the character as well. And then just repeat that forever
Ooh, you used your full intro again! Nice!! I thought Benny had passed when it had been shortened (at first, before the explanation of Benny's 'retirement' video).
I love your strider shirt bro. And with the gambit glitch, from what I've been told is that there are two characters who can negate that glitch: Spiral and M. Bison because their teleports teleport in relation to where the opponent is at?
Hey! Where do you play MvC2? Like in what emulator or what is that ROM? I've been trying to play it but I haven't find one that can run it good, I've been months trying to pls heeelp
Max, IM can go into his jumping infinite from so many setups by HIMSELF. He can even go from fly unfly combos into the infinite in mid screen or corner.
