Gotta watch out for those wild Xanderites, he seemed pretty territorial 😂 but for real, that was a beautiful area you all went to. Looks like you and Max had so much fun ✌️
Former desert dweller here. Thank you for pronouncing "Nevada" correctly! Don't sleep in washes! If there's an unexpected rain shower, you'll drown or lose your gear. Amazing, amazing drone shots! What an epic adventure. thanks for taking us along! We're headed out into the mountains to hike into the burn zones today to see what's left. You're my morning inspiration :)
Love the little adventure. I cannot believe you thought 1 gallon of water was enough for a 2 day hike through the dessert. Lol. Glad you were OK and did not push yourself into a threatening situation.
Let me start out by saying how beautiful that area was!! This area was the bottom of the ocean at one time and you can see it in those rock formations. When I moved out to Utah to be near grandkids, I found I was constantly drinking water. I keep a case of water on every floor of my home. Many hikers carry a pack with a built in water pouch. Out here, always carry double what you think you’ll need. So glad you and Maxim could explore this together!
good time of year to hit an area like that,..... early in the spring after all of the rain we had in the first quarter,.. that is as green as it gets,... you can tell from the drone footage from the top ridge...
I come from the east coast and lived there, both in US and Ontario, for over 40 years. Beautiful places there, for sure, as XB's videos show. BUT, I moved out West 30+ years ago and have had the great privilege of spending time in the mountains and deserts of America and I have to say that they are of another order of magnificence. The eastern geography and flora are, to be honest, very repetitive. But out west, endless variety. For one example, after 5 trips to Death Valley, I am still awed by it. Stunning, no matter how often I am there.
Just beautiful!! Had to remind to watch that crazy dude at 06.25 lol, I can just hear my folks when they watch this. Mom will love it. Thanks for taking us along,
I love that, despite being so low on water, you still made the effort to get the drone out and setup the camera in awkward spots to get the right shots for us to enjoy. Incredible scenery.
I really want to learn these types of survival/craftsman skills but have no clue where to start. Just finished watching your self made bow video and it’s incredible how something that looks so simple could be so entertaining. Any advice on where to start learning these things would be greatly appreciated, as I’m only 16 and plan to live similar to this in the future. Thanks!
The 'sand people" and hiking, the drone shots, yeah, just loved it, you could buy 2- 3-liter jugs for the car, then 2-3 liter for yourselves, and be good for a few days, just great drone shots! Thanks so much!
Hi Gentlemen! I’ve not seen video captured of out west that does the vastness and beauty of it, such justice. It is mind boggling country and I have only seen/ explored a very small part of it. There are no words for the Grand Canyon which I hope you saw. Always a treat to see you together and yet another thank you for sharing this adventure 💜 B
I’m born and raised in utah and I’ve been watching your RU-vid videos I’m excited to see what’s to come. Your content is always chill and relaxing and I always look forward to watching it.
Ah. The palpable feel of tranquility in the desert. There's nothing quite like it! It's like a soft, warm embrace from "everywhere". It makes me happy to see the X bros enjoying the awesome American Southwest wilderness. 🤎🧡💛
How blesses are you both man. Of course i don’t know your struggles in life and all, but please keep appreciating this stuff what you do and keep making videos. I wish you all the best in life.
Love your videos. You really capture the beauty and unique landscapes wherever you travel. I binge watch you, Max, Jon, Ted and Jim. I’ve seen places I’ll never be able to visit. Thank you creating such wonderful videos especially with your drone. Prayers for your safety and health while you are traveling and exploring 😊.
Hope you're proud of yourself man! It's cool to watch your channel grow and to also watch you grow as a person. Cheers from Hearst, Ontario EH!? Love the quality content of your adventures.
I never seen me some savage Canadians in a Nevada slot canyon before. At first the noise scared the heck out of me. 😆 Loved the vid, it was stunning scenery. 🙂
Spectacular video, such beautiful scenery!❤️ I'm so sorry for the vehicle trouble! Brake & steering issues are serious & the person who sold you the vehicle, if they knew about them should have told you! I'm no expert but they should have noticed leaking fluid or trouble for a while previous, am i right? Thank goodness you are being watched over by God or the angels...shows what a truly lovely & lucky person you are. Thank you for sharing this adventure ❤
"Wow, what an incredible adventure! Watching this video made me feel inspired and amazed by your determination to learn how to hike the desert the hard way. The stunning desert landscapes and challenging terrain truly showcased the beauty and resilience of nature. Your perseverance and willingness to push yourself beyond your limits are truly admirable. Keep exploring, learning, and sharing your experiences with the world. Can't wait to see what your next adventure holds!"
I enjoy following you guys on your adventures, amazing pictures, funny moments, beautiful scenery, and some pretty good cooking, stay safe and keep the adventures coming❤
It can be tough to give up on getting a peak bagged. I think you made a good decision to turn back when you did. There is always another day. The area was beautiful!
I'm battle born, and I ever since I had to move, I've missed hunting and scouting. You never understand how much something impacts you until it's gone.
That’s was great 😂 and you make some bomb looking food! I love seeing you live your dreams! God has blessed us with such a beautiful earth. Such stunning and amazing views! I need to visit that place sometime
Tus videos me hacen muy feliz. No puedo irme de viaje más que unos pocos días al año, pero ver estos viajes me hacen no extrañar tanto viajar. Saludos desde Argentina.
Lots of back and forth camera-grabbing fun on the hike out, then drone shots on the way back -- glad you found a way to produce a gorgeous video and _not_ die of thirst. Keep on keepin' on, Budnicks.
I remember hiking those areas as a kid, somewhere in my very early teens without the appreciation I have now. Thanks for bringing back the memories Xander. Need to revisit those parts of the globe sometime again. Once again, cheers for the phenomenal video! While detoxing from RU-vid I skip a lot of subscriptions that popup in my notifications, but skipping this would be an outright sin. It's medicine for the soul ;) PS. Love the cooking bits! There should be a Xander cooking show! ;)
Great to see the brothers "playing outside" yet again. Love you both! I'm not enough of a Star Wars geek to get the (apparent) reference, but it made me laugh all the same. Enjoy the beauty and have fun at the same time. Sounds like a "win-win" to me! Cheers from Calgary, another place that tends to be higher and drier than Ontario. :)
Xander, dude you crushed it. Great drone video, the sand people, like something outta a Monty Python movie! So glad you are enjoying the desert. Should plan more trips here in the states. Love your content bro and your magical humor. Da man.
Most of your fixes on the Toyota are easy with a manual for that year model and some basic tools. Brake line and power steering pump are very easy. Don't get picked to pieces financially by the mechanic shops. I'm heading out to southwest this fall so I'm keeping notes of the beautiful places you're going. Phenomenal overlooks!!! Thank you Xander
I often watch because where you normally are is so different from where I live… in Nevada! I know right where you two were. So cool to see how you filmed here.
Water is heavy to carry and heavier if you don't have enough. How did one walking stick turn into two, then three? Its amazing how the rock was pushed up on an angle. Seems to be a lot of iron in the ground there. Nice to see you out with the bro. Good video. Pax.
Исключительно , превосходно , великолепно ! Большое спасибо за видео ! Я из России , мы умеем любить , чувствовать . Мы любим природу и ждём когда плохое закончится ... Благослови вас Бог !
Great video. Very funny with the “rock” people. Glad you survived ! We are from the GTA & do regular hiking trips to Utah/ Arizona/ California. On one of our first trips, we also ran out of water. Now we use hydration bladders & also carry extra water in plastic bottles. Our hikes are now built around how much water we can carry based on a litre of water per person per hour more or less.
