To clarify, Canadians don't need visas to visit the States. we are granted 6-month stays on entry but the border guard said I had to leave on this date because I had entered the USA 6 months prior for another trip. I wasn't going to question the border guard so i left for Mexico for a few days. Hope you guys enjoy this one as much as I did :D
Xander, former immigration official here. Just ask the immigration official at the border next time to void the visa. You would be able to enter the U.S. with a renewed entry timer. You can only enter on one status at a time, and since you had a 6 month visa before, you were entering on that status. Ask him to void the visa, and boom you can enter on the 90 day visa waiver timer.
There's just one thing, buddy. What happens if you were previously on a United States visa and the grace period before leaving the country is questionable? Won't you still be barred from entering the United States for at least three years?
@@jyarados3082 Hey thanks for the message. I asked him if he could give me a new one but he said he wouldn't and that I had to leave the USA to Canada or Mexico at that time.
My 5 year old son and I just finished watching your last video when you uploaded this one!! Thanks man, we are going camping together for the first time this summer due to your inspiration 🙌 🙏
Thank you for your hard work and sobriety. I am struggling with opiates myself but your videos help me with anxiety hugely. Thank you for your hard work and your example that there are better things in life to live for. Much respect and love.
Im a sober addict from cocain, pills and ganja mostly. 57 days now. Keep your days busy and dont stop. Even if it feels like you're going nowhere, just keep the days in a full a schedule. Someone once said: "Show me your friends, and ill show you your future". Most of my friends are dead... I wanna live. "Per Aspera, Ad Astra" - Through thorn, towards the stars.
“I feel really free” is the feeling I got from travelling in a camper too, there’s nothing quite like the assurance you get from always having a roof over your head and being able to travel anywhere without worrying about where you will end up. It’s an incredible feeling
Man, you've got no idea how much I've missed these damn videos. Between my own sporadic camping trips, this content keeps me alive and inspires to be bolder with planning my next trip. Thanks Xander for the work and time you put into inspiring me and other viewers. Wishing you all the best!
i love watching your vids right before bed, and this one was posted right on time! 😎 watching these is like going on my own little adventure through you, really puts me at peace for the day!
1. That Mexico sunrise was amazeballs! 2. The sheer happiness and love of life in your voice when you said "I'm really living life right now" made my day. 3. It's not fair that you have those abs while eating travel food. Lol Thanks for taking us on this adventure with you!
I’ve been watching you for years and am absolutely obsessed, I have never found someone so easy to watch. It feels as if I’m watching a friend go on an adventure, youve even inspired me to go on my own adventures! Never stop!!
Thank God you are okay Xander!! 🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊. Thank you for a wonderful experience and trip! I've always wanted to go to Mexico and now I kind of did through your video! Michael.
Hey man, thank you for the peace. When I'm camping and outdoors I feel at peace and rejuvenated. when I can't get out, your raw, real and non-showy videos help me feel like I'm camping also, and I really am grateful. Enjoy and stay safe out there!
I love your attitude of just going out and about and traveling it’s really motivating! 325,000 miles on my 98 4Runner and you got me itching for a road trip to Arizona or something now 🤙
Your're the man, Xander! and living my dream haha. I used to live in BC from 2020-2022 and fell in love with Canadian wilderness there. Cheers from Iceland
Stunning man! I drove through Mexico with a few friends 15 years ago and this helped me re-live some of those moments. Your work documenting your adventure is inspiring! safe travels
What an awesome adventure! Those aerial shots of the impact crater were amazing. I'm so envious, this looks like so much fun. Thank you very much for taking us along!
Great video, I did the Mexico visa run when I first came over to the USA. From that, I fell in love with the Mexican desert, especially Baja. since then I've toured by bicycle and guided 4x4 trips down there. I miss the easy border hop now that I'm in Oregon, and glad you got to experience it! One fun note, if you'd have gone to see a mechanic down there, they could probably have fixed your truck for a fraction of the cost. Can't wait for the next upload and keep up the stellar work..Oh and the food, the people... Miss that place so much!
thanks for taking us on this adventure with you! i live in Utah and this is really making me want to spend some time out camping in the desert, looks like i have some new plans this weekend
Thank you so much for your content Xander! I hope you know just how many of us you help overcome fear and hardships with your videos! Youre a great guy. Much love from switzerland
Xander, your videos strike a great balance where I am able to "suspend disbelief" most of the time and simply enjoy the viewing experience, while also at least once in every video it hits me how much effort you put in to set up and retrieve multiple cameras to capture all the angles and shots we enjoy. Fantastic work!
Another amazing chapter of your month long adventure! So many beautiful parts, and some funny and disconcerting parts too. Your pure joy in living your life brings me comfort. ❤
What a great adventure, Xander. You are so adaptable and can make anything work out. Interesting environment , incredible crater and beautiful shots of plant life. And, no matter where you are you always have a great meal. Yum. So glad you stayed safe. Blessings
I'm loving this new series! I'm so envious of this trip you made. What an adventure! I'd watch you travel too more places and camp. Sounds like an interesting series
Another splendid adventure with Xander! Beautiful camera work. Inspiring as always. Already have a camping trip scheduled and planning a couple more this summer. This year will be the most camping in probably a decade my wife and I have done...thanks to you and the likes of your brother and Jon I have the desire...hopefully it will take on a passion! 🙂
As someone who grew up around Sinaloa and Sonora. I thank god you didn’t bump into any cartel members in the dessert or they take your truck away no doubt. Beautiful video, love the freedom!!
Always enjoy your videos! Glad you stayed safe while in Mexico man. That sunrise in the desert was absolutely gorgeous. You're a lucky guy, thanks for sharing your adventures with us 😁🙌
Xander doing what Xander does amazingly well!!! Keep them coming brother, you don't know how many of us need this type of content to just find our place in the world and relax watching your amazing videos!!
It’s cool to see you explore the desert and see it for the first time. I myself had that experience about a year or so ago, driving across the country and seeing it all for the first time. It’s definitely wild to see if you aren’t used to it. Hope you had a great trip! Can’t wait to see all the content you have coming!
Thanks Xander. The impact crater was very interesting to see and think about. I enjoy all of your video trips. Enjoy the warm weather. Kick back for a while. Best regards, Greg / CT USA
Again, you're incredible and amazing. There was an amount of time when going to mexico was seriously into my life plans. The person that I was making these plans with would always change his mind because "it's not safe enough" and to a degree he was right. Turns out he really just didn't want me to know about the family he was making. Oh well! It is what it is... I still wish I would have been able to see mexico though. I still think it's beautiful. Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you.
Lucky to have ended up going to Mexico -- it was an amazing spot. Loved that you were buying fresh food and making some great meals. I've only seen your videos winter camping, slogging through slush with Jim and North, so it was good to know you're a stop-and-smell-the-flowers kind of guy.
Great video. I spent a year back in the 90's driving around the country and living out of a 1973 Volkswagen van so this triggered some memories...but I never bought roadside seafood in Mexico so ya got me there.
Just discovered your videos & subscribed. Your videos are bold, innocent, masculine, and it brings me back to a time when life was new & exciting. Keep up The great work!
You really should check out the oregon coast while you are over that way! the Peuget Sound as well. both are very beautiful and absolutely worth a trip
Thanks for all the great content you put out. It must take you *hours* to film and edit all of the footage. In a world where material things are prioritised, your videos remind me that there is so much world to see out there and that time / money spent travelling is one of the best investments you can make. Hope you enjoy making the videos as we all enjoy watching them!
Thanks for another trip into the past! You again reminded me how beautiful the desert is; just raw beauty! Years ago I visited a lava field north of Flagstaff AZ. ; it was great, but not as amazing as your volcano in the Baja. Great work, editing, drone work; super watching.
I have watched various videos that you have posted prior to these truck trips videos and always enjoyed them, but I have to say I actually enjoyed these videos more, keep them coming
Hey Xander! Your reaction to being in the desert for the first time reminded me of my first time. I live and camp in the Southeast United States, but ventured out to Phoenix, AZ for a work trip and took a day to hike around the South Mountain area. The thing that sticks out the most to me besides the beautiful desert landscape was the unique smell haha. I'm guessing it's the smell of the plants and such, but it still sticks with me to this day and I'll never forget it. As always, great video and thank you for sharing!
I've just found your channel man, and I'm absolutely loving the content! I'm English, living in Australia and although we have such vast areas here, it still amazes me how different the US and Canada is to the rest of the world!
Endless possibilities, how cool is that Xander!! This is a great one and thanks for sharing. You picked a heck of day to take a dip in the ocean 😳💪 Can't wait for more, B
