Great guide! I've seen a lot of Tekken 8 guides and I think yours is one of if not THE easiest and simplest to understand while also giving plenty of information. Keep it up! I hope you do more in the future.
thanks for the guide, i learned some new stuff. also for the combo at 10:27, after d1, 2 u need to hold back then do 3, 4 out of backturn, i noticed that was missing from the notation
@@GabeFGC Four hours later and I got Lili to garyu thanks to your tutorial. Definitely gotta learn some more combos, frame traps and figure out some neutral tools before I continue.
Great video! Although, I was a little surprised you didn’t mention her BT d2 as it’s arguably one of her best options in BT for poking. And BT 1+2 is unsafe on block so I opt to do BT 3, 4 instead since BT 3 is safe on block. Other than that amazing guide. Keep it up!
Great video! Thank you for your time and effort. Just wanted to note that holding down FF1+2 makes it unguardable. It seems gimmicky at face value, but I'm always surprised how many people I catch just holding it during WR.
at 10.20 I feel like the combo notation might be wrong? Watching the video after d1 2 the next move is a kick but you have the input as b1f? is that definitely right?
How many views to get this EXACT same video, but with inputs shown on screen so I can pause in practice mode? Tabbing back and forth to rewind is annoying but I love the guide

I'm new to tekken and had been playing and learning Lili and her capabilities for quite some time now since release ese, However, I play on controller and it's hard to execute the quarter circle forward 3 alone without me doing it within a combo. I mostly use the d-pad because it's very comfortable for me to do combos and pretty much do everything. in order for me to attempt on doing move, I have to use the joystick which is not comfortable for me to use nor Control. I need little assistance of how I can do this on the d-pad. P.s Thank you so much on the guild i pretty much understood how to use her now.
errr your first combo shown doesnt match ur notation stated. Also since u had counter on u did more damage than usual. What you did was ff2>d1,2,b>3,4>b1,f>dew glide 3>ff3,f>dew glide 1,4
@GabeFGC oh thx, OK that makes more sense because I assumed u meant something else bcz when u mentioned 31 again u said it in a different tone I assumed it was a different move
@@GabeFGC appreciate it! Just picked up Lili a few days ago I find myself fumbling a bunch on what to do with wallsplats! Always end up just pressing 1+2
@@GabeFGC The notation below for the first combo is not the same as the combo performed in the video. I was talking about the combo performed in the video. The combo in the video has backstance 3 4 after d1 2. The b1 after the backstance 3 4 wouldn't connect on Xiaoyu somehow.
@@DaylenAmell oh! Yeah sorry about that the notation is off I intended to copy The way the combo displays but copied the actual image as well. Interesting that it won’t work on xia though I hope the video was still helpful
Hey, I don’t think is you, this is my first tekken, and I come from 2D fighting games, so it must be me, 4 example, in your first combo Idk how you made lili to stay in her back after down, 1, 2, cause by default she doesn’t stay backward… maybe is stupid but it most be me
