And in reference to Jesus the ,"son" that is to be capitalized, "Son" just like, e.g. the Father, Yeshua, Savior, ect. I hope it is clear. Now, to answer your question, He loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for our Salvation, so we can be saved, but only in Repentance

I do take in to consideration of the real meaning of words, that's why I've corrected you, that's why the correction was made, futhermore, I'm not perfect, no one but Jesus is, so errors may come and go, however, I felt that the correction needed to be addressed given from the context. Further, in reference to, "Reckless Love" Okay, so you have the Trinity right, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, all in One, all is One, now the verses in the song generally is in reference to The Holy Spirit, that's why it might seem a little bit of a confusion. Listen, Before Jesus was raised or ascended up to heaven He told us that He was not going to leave us alone, never! So He said He would leave us The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit's job is to protect us, from persecution, and never abandon us.

Women shall not teach from the pool pit, which most Apostolic, even Bethel church is exercising, no pun intended. I agree with your point on, or view on the relation with Reckless and God, you missed another cap in reference to God again, by the way; I am with you on your argument, God is no where near reckless, I guess they could not think of another word. @@treythompson4103 Bethel music has, in my book, that bad reputation with other songs, that really don't connect, but others do, some written by other worship bands. I love God and He's been Good to me. I haven't heard the full message, but have you experienced God's love? The Holy Spirit is the one that builds us up and encourages us. To say that God doesn't want us to have love for ourselves contradicts his heart for us which is love and not to beat down verbally or be critical with the person he has made and loves so much but to meet ourselves in love and grace the way he does with us. The Bible even says to love our neighbor as ourselves. We receive his love for us. It transforms the way we see and treat ourselves and it also leads us to being gentler with others.

If God made you new, why would you want to hate the new YOU? Since God tells us to even love our enemies, would He want us to hate ourselves? What purpose would it serve?

warriorspikes51 loving ourselves is a part of loving Jesus. We are His temple and we are to take care of/treasure this temple. Love our neighbours as ourselves. We can’t do that if we don’t love His most treasured creation first - ourselves.

Every “generation” is composed of a multitude of individuals. Across those individuals are the entire spectrum of possible personal problems. This video is obviously not directed to the audience you have in mind, whose problem is loud. This video is towards the ones suffering from deep wounds which demoralize an individual silently. If you’re social enough, you’d notice that many people these days are weak, naive, insecure, incompetent, undisciplined, AND don’t know the true God in spirit and in truth. More people struggle believing God’s love is real for them than they do believing they are adequate for anything, because their disordered life already proves that undoubtably. It takes more faith to rejoice that you are renewed in Christ, fearfully and wonderfully made for intimate communion with God bringing heaven on earth than it does to believe your dismal existence is miserably hopeless and good for nothing.
