I'm a guy who is just now getting into youtube video production and I haven't the slightest idea of how to do any of it successfully. I have never used photoshot or anything like it. But I do have Photopea in my book marks bar. I want to learn how to make thumbnails, so I came here. For a rank amateur like myself, you went entirely too fast for me. But I stopped and backed up again and again to figure it out. I'm hoping to find more complete information on this process. I'll check out your next video in the series, Thank you so much for your time.
Hello Starry Roads. We're happy to hear that you found our video helpful. You can search the internet for Photoshop tutorials on how to superimpose an image and this can be used in Photopea. -Francis
This is my first time enjoying your RU-vid channel. Great work! I’m looking forward to more great content from you. Thank you so much for this informative video! I got so much out of it. Could you show us how to retouch photos with photopea? Thanks!
Really great and helpful information but a bit fast for many of us. It's one thing if we know the software but we don't. Like you mention the text thing and being able to enlarge it if you have auto transform on???? I see you clicking on stuff but your set up bar isn't even the same as mine.... I do wish when you were clicking away at things off to the side you would be very intentional so we could follow along.
Hi Epic, you can simply drag and drop a compatible photo into the Photopea workspace. Alternatively you can click File > Open then click on the image you want to edit. -Chris
@Shyva Hello! The default download location depends on your browser settings. On Chrome for example, you can change this by going into Settings>Advanced>Downloads and then clicking on the "Change" button to choose which folder will be the default location. Hope that helps! - Ian
Hi Svelte, in Photopea you can zoom in by selecting the magnifying glass symbol located on the left side toolbar beneath the "hand" symbol. Afterward click on the image you are editing on the screen to zoom in. -Chris
@Felice Lu Sometimes browser extensions can interfere with Photopea. Try enabling Incognito mode or whatever the equivalent is on your browser and see if the same error persists. The article linked below lists the common fixes for Photopea. Hope that helps! - Ian
@ShirleyUsAlways Did you mean the layer? If so, you choose the size when you first start your project which Voia discussed at around 01:23 of the video (linked below for convenience). Hope that helps! - Ian ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-583Ev6de1I4.html
@ReggieTV Hi! Did you export it as a PNG file? If so, try exporting it as JPG which has a higher compression rate. The tradeoff is that it'll be at a slightly lower resolution, but that doesn't matter for thumbnails. - Ian
Hi Blitzi, Photopea is a great photo editing software that you can use for editing your thumbnails. We also recommend that you use Pixlr. Please check out our video where we have a guest host explaining how he uses Pixlr to edit his thumbnails: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o7GP3Ol2W1I.html -Paolo
Hello @Zara'sJourney Thanks for watching the video! Click the Transform controls option found on the upper left side and you will be able to resize the texts to make it bigger or smaller. - Lee
@Sreedevi M Hi! Sadly, no. Photopea is meant as a free online Photoshop alternative. If it's video editing you're interested in, you could try Da Vinci resolve which is what George uses to edit his videos. - Ian
@Manc 2608 Hi! It should work on iPads as Photopea is an online resource. When you're saving the file, are you choosing the File=>Export As option? - Ian
@@freedom Hi there. Thanks for your reply. The actual image creation within the program works fine. Im familiar with exporting using illustrator but when I try on Photopea nothing happens. I’ve clicked on save after selecting both png and jpeg also tried flattening but to no avail 🤔
@Bordrr Hi! Similar to Photoshop, you'll need to select the area you want to remove and delete it. You can check the link below for the steps. Hope that helps! - Ian www.photopea.com/tuts/remove-background-from-photo/
@Turn2 _ Hi! Are you asking how to add text to the picture? If so, you need to add it as a text layer which is editable at any point in the process. You can look it up here www.photopea.com/learn/text. Hope that helps! - Ian
@TDS dj Hi! If you're just starting and need help, you can check out the link below to Photopea's official guide. Hope that helps! - Ian www.photopea.com/learn/
@Linda Kessler I thought so too, but turns out it's pronounced "Photo-pee". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - Ian www.reddit.com/r/photopea/comments/8ih8m8/photopea_pronunciation/
@6170 msiwiADys roblox doa Aside from our Photopea basics playlist here ru-vid.com/group/PLxLYo5_7D3SdjpXrt_61HJjCFubXmu-_e , you can also check out Photopea's website with their tutorials here www.photopea.com/learn/ . Hope that helps! - Ian
@skeet GaminG Thanks for commenting, but it's really not cool to shame someone for their teeth, or any other body part for that matter. I'm sure you wouldn't want people to make fun of you either for whatever reason, right? - Ian
@Dad dOcK Hi! I think it's really sad that this isn't the first comment of this type that we've come across. Like I've replied to someone else, the world already has enough negativity in it, no need to add more. And it's definitely not cool to shame someone for their teeth or any other body part. Certainly, you wouldn't want people to make fun of you for whatever reason, right? Let's not do that to others then. - Ian
Hi, Jeon! We don't have any more videos covering Photopea aside from the ones in this playlist, ru-vid.com/group/PLxLYo5_7D3SdjpXrt_61HJjCFubXmu-_e , but perhaps this tutorial page from Photopea might help. - Ian www.photopea.com/learn/
