Least Reliable Cars That Won't Even Last 50,000 Miles || Avoid Buying!

Today, we're diving into the world of new vehicles that just can’t seem to make it past 50,000 miles (or 100,000 kilometers) without causing some serious headaches. We're talking about the TEN most unreliable new cars you can buy right now.
But - before we get started - remember, any vehicle can last a long time if you’re willing to deal with trips to the dealer for warranty issues and then potentially pouring money into repairs once the warranty is up. The question is what’s your tolerance for all that? For these cars, it might have to be pretty high…
Coming in at number ten is the Ford Bronco Sport, and we've got a lot more to discuss. From the Nissan Rogue's drivetrain concerns to the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe's hybrid headaches, and even the infamous Hyundai & Kia 2.0L engines, we're covering all the bases.
🚗 Top 10 List:
Hyundai & Kia 2.0L Engines
Volkswagen Taos
Land Rover Range Rover
Jaguar F-Pace
Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra
Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid
Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe & Wrangler 4xe
Infiniti QX50
Nissan Rogue
Ford Bronco Sport
Make sure to watch the entire video for detailed insights on each model, and find out why you might want to steer clear of these vehicles if you're planning to keep them long-term.
If you've owned any of these vehicles and had a good experience, that's great! But for most, these models are more likely to cause trouble than the average car. To avoid headaches, it’s best to steer clear.

What is happening with manufacturers these days? It used to be if you wanted a reliable vehicle you turn to the far east companies, but Nissan in the shitter, Honda reliability has dipped, Hyundai and Kia dropping the ball who is there left to turn to? European and American vehicles have never a shining beacon of reliability either. No wonder there's a boom in classic and older cars. They ran longer with proper maintenance. Add in inflation and price gouging over the last 4 years, it's time to rub those pennies together for a descent "old school".

Basically higher emissions, computers, and cost cutting. Peak automobile reliability was in the early 2000. We need some cheaper basic vehicles. Port injection, no turbo, no cvt, no cylinder deactivation, no start stop etc.

Parts would be like $400 i total, I could find a 2012 pathfinder SE with 120k miles for $4500, compare that to a 4Runner it’s 50% less for basically the same truck.

You couldn’t be more wrong about 1,2,6 and 7&8. 1. Turbo engines have been around for decades, they require a very specific treatment when you drive and shut them down. Plus oil catch will fix a faulty design of these engine at a super low cost. 2. Hybrids have been around since 1997, Toyota and Honda are the pioneers, Honda neglected to project for a while, Toyota ram with it. Gen 1 and 2 Prius are around for sale with original batteries and CVT with 150-250k miles given that these are heavily used by Uber and Lyft and such. 6. Rams post 2015 have a ZF 8/9 speed transmission bullet proof. The Pentastar V6 has been around for 14 years, it’s original issue are not there and they average 300k miles with healthy maintenance. The HEMI engines are abused by bad habit drivers, and a lack of understanding of its mechanics. A HEMI is supposed to run not idle. There’s plenty of RU-vidr and Reddit users that have their RAMs with over 250k miles with minor wear a tear issues and no more. Some elements have gotten worse since stelantis took over but I think they’re trying to kill the brand all together. 7&8. Look at the vin numbers of these cars, ones that start at K will outlast most other manufacturers, ones that have the 1.6GDI Gen 1 like any other new product have some gremlins to get rid off. These cars sell worldwide by the boat load, some models outsell VW and Toyota. There’s a reason for that.

@fatman5377 Turbo cars never last unless they're diesel. Find a Ram more than 10 years old. Good luck. Go buy a hybrid from 2015. I dare you. No, go buy a Tesla from 2015. Hope you like 60 miles of range. Dodge got sold, and it does not exist anymore. It's now called Salantis. A wish company. Again, if you want a reliable car, get an iron block, iron head, naturally aspirated car, or truck built pre 1995.
