Being able to do this on the calculator saved me precious time! I cannot thank you enough for this, my statistics professor does not spend any time instructing us on how to use the required calculator for the class, and without videos like these I would not pass this class! So thank you again, just know these videos are extremely useful for people like me.
If I watched this video sooner, I wouldn't have to put unnecessary amounts of hours trying to figure it out without knowing how simple it really is. Thank you for putting this into such easy and straightforward explanations!
THANK YOU. My A.P stats teacher is teaching the class for the first time in her life, and everyone is dropping it (from 24 students to 14). Shes trying to teach us, but this is so much clearer than her method!
The question sample that you used, was the exact same question I was stuck on, different values of course. Thanks so much for explaining how to do it with the graphing calculator!!! Saved me so much time :)
When I click the stat button to pull up the spot where we put in all the data, my columns are renamed and I don't know how to change them back to L1 and L2
I saw a problem very similar to this on the FE Civil Exam. Unfortunately I didn't see this video until after I took the exam. Fortunately, I eventually passed the exam on my third attempt.
I have diagnostics on but when I enter lists, L1 and L2, use LIN REG all I get is the linear equation, no R^2 and no R. I'm using the TI 84; I'm not entering in the Y intercept and the slope to get the line, it is automatic. At the #4 LIN REG: Xlist:L1, YList:L2, freqlist: blank; Store RegEQ:Y1. Any thoughts? thank you, Anne
when i do this, i can only ever get to the point where i've gone into stat, calc, then the option that i need (option 4 in the video, option 8 for me, but i have this problem no matter which one i use). after that, instead of being able to just hit enter like in the video, if i hit enter it says error because i'm missing information. i have to put in "Xlist:" (i've been putting L1 here), "Ylist:" (i've been putting L2 here), then "FreqList:" and "Store RegEQ:" (i don't know what to put for either of these), and THEN hit calculate. anyone have any idea what to put there or if i'm doing it wrong?
T ღ check that a plot is not on. Hit Y=. The plots at the top should not be highlighted. Also check your window. Hit WINDIW and click standard. Make sure L1 and L2 are empty. Then start problem. You can reset machine if problem persists. See how to reset TI calculator video.
You look too good to me to understand because go to fast. I cannot post a video every second and write down notes in order to understand how to do my exercise so please I suggest you to really be helpful by talking slower and showing slower how to press the buttons on the calculator. That way you’re gonna have more viewers.
Hirma Guma there is a pause button. Most people do not like slow videos. Just watch it first. Then go through it again and pause it after I tell you to do something. Don’t try and do it the first time you watch the video. You should try learning what I’m teaching, not just copy what I do. Understand why. Just watch it first. No notes or anything. Then watch it again, this time pausing and rewinding when necessary. And I’m not in it for the views. Although, I do have 2+ million views on the channel.
