wow, i was glued to the computer watching this! i got up at 6 am to get a jump start on the project im making for you. I started it last night and hope to finish it today, but my eyes were getting a bit fatigued so i sat down to see todays new vids and came across this one, you make that look easy and i know its hard. i love your attention to detail and all the tips you threw in. Makes me want to try leather working but i am so busy with projects now that adding a new hobby is impossible..lol..so i will be happy to watch you do yours! great video, makes me feel like with your instructions even i could do it. thanks John
Very nice leather and kydex work! You did awesome on it. I didn't know that you could go back through the holes and then you don't need to tie it off. I'm going to try that next time.
+Jason McDaniel Thank you Jason. I'm glad you learned something. For me thats what youtube is all about. I couldn't even begin to tell you the things I've learned from watching others on youtube.
Man you are good!!! Really educational video. I was thinking of wrapping the one I got from you in a removable deer hide sheath with belt loop, this video may have just helped me out. Looks good!!
I really like to clip those sheaths to my beltloop. I bet you could come up with something. It seems like it would be hard to work around the ferro rod holder.
Judas H Christ on a pony! I've only known you a short while and I already hate your guts. You made it look so easy that it'll make me try my own. Worse is I think I have all the equipment required to make this project. If no one hears from me for over a week, call the local militia! They will find me on the basement floor with half a cow glued to my hide, blackened with dye, and a new kydex foreskin. Great job on the sheath John! Chris mllj
Nice craftsmanship again. I'd love to pay someone to make me a No-retention, clip on, sheath for my Old Hickory. I'd like for it to clip onto my pocket like my Mora does... and I'd also like for it to be able to just drop it into the sheath and be fully seated.... I realize that it may dangle kind of oddly from my pocket because it's so much longer than the Mora. Wonder who might be interested in that Big Contract???
I will reimburse you for the cost of a new one in addition to the build cost. Would you be so kind as to order it from Amazon.... Or, your local ACE Hardware will order it for you and give you a call when it arrives at their store. That's how I got this current one that I use. Old Hickory Butcher Knife... 7" blade... 11 1/2" overall.
