you all probably dont care at all but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
@Emerson Ronald i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I have several Leatherman tools and the Wingman is the one I carry daily in an office/suburban environment. The scissors are a big help at the office, it’s lightweight, not scary to to co-workers, and if I lose it, it’s more replaceable than the more expensive tools
@@Ben-hb4my opinions always vary but I am ok with the serrated edge. At work, it does a great job slicing through cardboard and breaking down boxes and cutting through plastic pallet straps, rope etc.
I owned 5 different multi-tools, and all of them have scissors, some have both scissors and saw. During my heavy use in the past 7 years, I never touched the saw, but often open the scissors for some cutting. Sometimes I have a package to deliver/return, no platform for me to cut the returning label(in my car), and scissors come in handy. Sometimes the cotton line sticks out from my T-shirt, scissors can help me with that. I even use scissors to cut my fingernails in an emergency. No matter is the Victorinox Classic SD on my keyring or the Wave that is stored in my glove box. scissors and the knife blade are the two main tools I used. When I go camping, I will bring a full-size saw and ax. This Leatherman "mini" saw is useless because I can only be sawing with some small branches, which I can kick off using my foot, or even bend it using my hand and some bodyweight. I won't spend time using this mini saw with a big log that I'll spend at least 30-1hour on it, I rather use a full-size saw and ax. I do DIY wood staff at home, put the Wave in my car as an emergency tool, bring it with me when I go camping and hiking, but I never touch the saw once.
I've been thinking about getting one or the other and the way I feel is they both hold about the same function; but the Wingman is a easier mutitool for anyone to use, the scissors are no effort needed, the combo blade while not as versatile for some crafts are intuitive, if you want to make fine cuts you point the tip down, if you want to rip through material you saw with the base of the blade like most people would do anyways. the package opener is safe and effective and we can't deny the growing importance of mail order shopping so there is some justification for such a specialized tool. The Sidekick feels like a more flexible tool but with a required level of knife skills to use to its full potential. there is no scissor but there is a good blade that can cut just about anything the scissors could. the saw further increases edge case scenarios by allowing you to make crude cuts in materials no knife pocket could ever hope to achieve. and the serrated edge feels like the perfect backup for a stubborn piece of plastic or reinforced tubing that the straight edge won't get through but the kerf of a saw is a little too aggressive.
Spot on LM SIDEKICK is undervalued as a tool. Sprung pliers, one hand blade, easy cleaning, no bits to loose and second to none hand comfort using pliers or blade. The original pocket clip tool and no wear points for clothing/bags. Get a Victorinox classic SD for scissors any LM can only dream of and you're done with 2nd to none EDC.
To cut the paracord with the scissors you have to pull the paracord into the scissors and hold it there while your cutting intead of let it go like you do on the video. Great review anyways. Thanks!
I agree that method works better, I do the cut test holding just one side because it’s a good way to differentiate scissor performance between tools, some can pass the test some can’t. Thanks for watching!!
I've carried the sidekick since 2017 & I just lost it, I just received the wingman thinking the tools locked open 😆 my fault. Also I would rather have the saw blade than the scissors 🤷🏼♂️ Also wingman has no lanyard hole, ahhh!! I used the sidekicks saw to cut vines off trees. Also I've been using that carabiner from the sidekick since 2017 as my main truck/house key holder, it's holding up perfect.
Use the knife to cut the paracord. the scissors are good for cutting paper/tape/etc. how often do you need a 2.5” saw? The saw is useless for day to day, unless it was an emergency. If your cutting down trees or wood working you’ll have a proper saw. The lanyard loop is lipstick on a pig. On both: The file/ruler, bottle opener is useless for the most part. The package opener is great and the combo knife blade works great for 97% of the cutting you’ll do, in the wingman. Wingman for the win.
overall both of these are solid leatherman does a god job on all of their tools and these are no exception when it comes to fit and finish. Thanks for watching!
