It’s crazy man!! Good look on looking into it as well man. because I’m not the most knowledgeable about engines and stuff. But I just really think two strokes have got to go eventually. It might be harder to do it with mower’s because landscapers work a lot. But I think leaf blowers are hella doable.It’s so mind blowing how bad they can be. I would have guessed it
@@sacramentofoodforest i totally agree with the leaf blower idea i use to work for a lawn care company a few years back and i totally think a few decently powered electric leaf blowers would be almost as efficient and if you invest in extra batteries up front it'd probably be cheaper in the long run as well also i forgot to write this when i was looking into it earlier it turns out its not the c02 that's bad its all the unburnt fuel that gets emitted into the air which i never would have guessed lol i thought they burnt fuel pretty efficiently but i was wrong lol apparently the emissions are heavier greenhouse gasses and they're cancerous ill be investing into more electric options from now on lmao

Im working on some truly beneficial ideas that meet in middle no agenda no bullshit my point about battery powered tools are they are just as bad for environment if not worse than combustion plastic winds up in ecosystem then leaches out mining for materials are extremely toxic slurry fossil fuels are still burned to create most electric solar panels again the raw material then the batteries them selfs you should call them nuclear waste basically. We could get clean energy from compostingvon large scale ,or water electrolysis hydrogen h20. I think he's not unfortunately. He's obviously passionate about what he does, I don't think he'd purposely make himself look like he doesn't know what the heck he's talking about. People just hear "facts " and tlrun with them or even change them themselves.

It's not just leaf blowers it's all small, 2 stroke gas motors, they're horribly fuel inefficient and spit out even heavier greenhouse gasses than co2 from unburnt fuel being released into the atmosphere. And least it's a start, more people should try not be selfish a holes as much and to try to think ab others amd or their future children every now and again and start a change
@@nicomontenigro6858 its not true The leaf.blower is only.gling to make about the same quantity of co2 as gas burned. Hes referring to a study that compared non methane hydrocarbon emissions, co2 is not a hydrocarbon. So what was probably a valid statistic was changed into something ridiculous. I'm all for saving the enviorment, but blatantly false info is not ok. Hes just going to lose any credibility he could have by saying stuff like that. That being said though, I dont think he did it on purpose, but it doesn't pass even the most basic sniff test, and hes just flat out outrageously wrong on that fact . And batteries polute too you know? The real answer to this greenwashimg stuff is that we have products that aren't disposable, bit you won't see any companies pushing for products that will last your life time.

@onradioactivewaves everything that's manufactured today creates pollutants. Some things are way worse than others, and everything that we really shouldn't be worried ab, like cow farts gets propagated to the surface to try to discredit the movement its not about keeping the planet in an ice age and "global warming" it's about being able to breath in a hundred or so years.... for our kids and grandchildren sake
