LEAVING BOTH KIDS FOR THE FIRST TIME + EVAN’S DREAM COMES TRUE! 

I’m a 62 year old woman, who waits anxiously ,like a kid in a candy store for Saturday to come ,so I can watch your videos. I think your entire family on both sides are incredible, watching the closeness you all have gives brings me hope and peace of mind. Seeing you all cherish each other is incredible to watch. My family and my siblings were somewhat like that. Unfortunately four members have passed on and it’s hard. But watching your videos and speaking about God does my heart good. I had never been on UTube until one day I clicked on it and the first video I saw was Evan asking for prayers for Carlin and Layla. They were both in separate hospitals here in Knoxville. I watched the whole video and when finished I prayed for all of you. From that day on I have been following you. I’m 76 years old and feel like you are members of my family. I continue to pray for Carlin’s health and peace. You are a beautiful young family and pray God’s continued blessings for you all. I don’t know if you remember me but I am the crazy lady outside the Mexican restaurant after church who invaded your space! Really not crazy! Was just happy to see you all and to talk to you. As someone who had to get a wheelchair at 24 and still use it 6 years later, I get it. I know people can look especially if you get up, but you do what you need to do and that’s perfectly ok!

Carlin, I have to use a wheelchair to conserve energy or when I’m feeling bad. I look perfectly healthy but am chronically Iill. It’s humbling! My husband takes such good care of me and sometimes tells me to get in the chair! 😉 I never want to but it’s just sometimes necessary! I love how Evan cares for you! What a great guy! Your family is an inspiration to all of us young and old. The way your family enjoy being with each other. That you do many simple things with your children like walks, baking, outside activities. Plus your trust in the Lord. I just saw the sign for Penn and Teller! I would love to see them in person. Just like a little kid. Playing with all the buttons on the wall. You remind me of brother and myself. Buttons are our biggest temptation. That tunnel was giving me stress. I'm not good in closed in areas like that.

He is in control of all, he will cover us in his grace and glory.
