This is common knowledge to anyone who actually knows basketball (which obviously disqualifies like 99% of Lebron fans). Jordan's only "flaw," 3pt shooting, wasn't really a flaw at all. It was more a product of his era. When Jordan shot a relatively high volume of 3's he shot them at a high clip. Y2K fanboys can't get it thru their thick skulls that the game wasn't always a 3pt jacking contest. Lebron's flaws are not only way more glaring, but way more abounding. He's a below average jump shooter; he has no reliable midrange or post game; his footwork is atrocious; he's a historically poor FT shooter for a perimeter player; despite his inflated numbers, he's really not that good a rebounder; was only an elite defender for like 1/4 of his career, etc. Add that to the fact that he's been the author of some of the most egregious meltdowns and been on the losing end of some of the biggest beatdowns ever, it's an absolute joke that so many ignorant folks call this dude the GOAT. Lebron's game is eerily similar to Giannis' game, they both just build up a full head of steam and run down the lane to score, both are poor free throw and mid range shooters. The difference is Giannis is big man and he rebounds and defends to the highest level, yet they easily get exposed in the playoffs when it comes to perimeter shots and free throws. Jordan is 6'6 and yet his post game is 1000x better than Lebrons post game, he is also better at playing off the ball and getting to his spots quicker and more effectively and because of this he could play with two or 3 non floor spacers at the same time (i.e Rodman and Luc Longley). Scottie Pippen alongside Jordan was able to flourish his game and completely expand it, unlike Kevin Love who has one of the most all around unique and valuable skillsets as a post player and passer but since he was playing with Lebron he was practically dumbed down to a catch and shoot player. All of this is obvious but I already know there is going to be an influx of Lebron fanboys calling me a hater.

I think the fact that MJ started out having to ramp up and then having to take breaks and having a hard decline is why I have Lebron over him. Y’all can say longevity doesn’t matter but it’s actually the only thing more difficult than having a great peak is sustaining that peak or as close to it as you can over time. 2 rings and 2 FMVP and 1 regular season MVP isn’t enough for me to put Mike over Lebron when you consider how close they are with either Mike or Lebron having the edge.
