If KD never gets hurt he’s still considered the better player. KD was clamping dudes up along with being unstoppable scoring any way he wanted. Everyone was calling KD the best player in the NBA. This is recency bias because LeBron won the most recent championship and KD was sidelined. Just like last season when everyone was on the Kawhi train calling him the best when LeBron missed the playoffs. If Giannis wins a ring I have no doubt in my mind everyone would be calling Giannis the best player in the NBA.
