He has an irrational hate for LeBron because Skip is too romantic when it comes to sports. Analytics and reality doesn't come first for Skip, Skip uses analytics to support or hurt guys who he agrees with philosophically. Shannon is way more analytical and objective. LeBron has his eyes outside of the game, he wants to become a billionaire, and take over industry. All Jordan cared about was the game, winning, and being the best, and doing it ruthlessly and aggressively. That's why Skip will always support Jordan over LeBron, because of Jordan's romantic obsession with winning and competing, has nothing to do with who ACTUALLY is the best.

"Washed up" wade was the best player in miami in the playoff that same year and this season too (not out of the playoff run in march like lebron), IT got injuried against this year, d rose was the best player in minnie playoffs and about to make all star game this year. Crawford is again decisive player in utah and the Key to win their only game against the rockets and did great in last year playoffs. The only ones that made it to the finals of that group are lebron and love after surpassing in 7 games the celtics without their 2 best player and the pacers .and in that finals they got SWEPT.Love in that finals averaged 19 and 11. In the last 2 finals they have a total record of 1-8 (kyrie won that game), they have won in 2 finals just one game less than the clippers this year against gs.With 0 all star.

Edgel Gabriel False! Go back and check the records. LBJ missed the playoffs his rookie season by 1 game. The 8th seed won 36 games, Cleveland won 35. MJ won 38 games and made the playoffs his rookie year. As for his 3nd year, he only played 18 games. If he played more games they would of won more than 30 but your argument was flawed because LBJ couldn’t make the playoffs when the 8th place team won 36 games.

I don’t understand how so many people consistently underrate the 2011 mavs team. THEY were the SECOND best defensive team in the league, with an incredible bench and one of the best Coaches in the LEAGUE. They blew the doors off of the western conference and swept the defending champ lakers in the semi finals. They were loaded and Dirk went off and had the best finals performance in League history until Lebron in 2016, the heat had NO bench and not just Lebron but the Wade and bosh both disappeared. Stop underrating that Mavs team they were absolutely incredible, and anybody with an ounce of basketball knowledge knew they had more than enough to beat the heat.

I'm usually hating on LeBron, I'll admit that... but Skip is wrong here. 1) Cleveland v San Antonio, was a done deal before it even started. 2) Heat v. Dallas, yes Heat should've won that. 3) Heat v. OKC, he got the win he should've gotten 4) Heat v. Spurs, pretty even matchup, Heat won 5) Heat v. Spurs, pretty even matchup, Spurs won 6) Cavs v. Warriors, would've been a fair match if the Cavs hadn't lost Kyrie AND Love. LeBron was by himself. 7) Cavs v. Warriors, kinda even matchup Cavs win. 8) Cavs v. Warriors, KD joins Steph, Klay, Draymond, and Iggy. Cavs lose. 9) Cavs v. Warriors, Bron by himself again. Cavs lose. Aside from the Dallas series, you cannot really pick at his finals record. Especially in his Cavs years. To be honest, the only time in Cleveland where he ever had a fair matchup, he won the title, and Cleveland was the underdog. In Miami, he probably should've won 3, but whatever. He got 2/4. KD has never been in a finals where he was not the favorite. Think about that. He was asked to carry OKC one time when Westbrook got injured, and he couldn't even take them past the semis.

@Sam Garza That's why I don't agree with folks that said what KD did in joining GS was the same as Lebron forming his team in Miami. First of all, building a team no matter who you collect as players is always harder than joining an established team. Chemistry takes time to develop. Secondly, the Heat were a self-proclaimed superteam/juggernaut but the data suggests otherwise. 2/4 in finals and very well could have been 1/4 with no future after 2014...that's hardly dynasty material. GS on the otherhand with KD is 2-0 and may threepeat and no one has yet to step up to beat them yet in a 7 game series. So they so far are "unbeatable". The Heat lost that distinction after their first year!
