for me around 10-15 min is the perfect lenght for content of the LEC or other interesting content from orgs

My personal opinion is that the music and bits LEC used to do was more something to make the ppl working for LEC proud than the viewers. I'm fine without it. However, the lack of hype from the format, the lack of audience and the absence of Big IRL weeks/finals is painful and pushed me away from watching more than highlights. World in LEC studio is also a disgrace. Riot should invest to change that ASAP

One of the reasons I quit league is because it's so toxic. Riot refusing to ban toxic players is the reason they've always had issues. Just like Broxah said in High School people didn't want to play because it was so toxic.

I really like this podcast and all the people on it, but Gini making fun of Broxah is getting pretty fucking annoying.

Hype has a lot to do with sports. Teams may suck but when you have a large crowed chanting in unison it drives others to enjoy the game. I remember the huge crowds and stadiums. It would give me goose bumps. Now it seems like Esports is forcing the game to be small. Let's make it to the point where we need to play "where is Waldo" with caps Dad in the crowd

I think if we started by removing these bo1, that would be a good start. they feel very useless for the players, the teams and the fans. Thats what makes the first 3 weeks very boring in the LEC.

I feel like ginero just seems so toxic on this show she constantly talks shit about everything from other hosts to players to teams and team managers, hell she just decided to talk trash about the us education system randomly. Talk about sounding uneducated.

My biggest fear is that G2 just win everything again. I would make the league so damn boring man. We need some ither teams to step up because a one team region is a boring region.

Please re-watch this episode and focus on everyone's reactions to your one-off comments. 15 years ago, I graduated from one of the two Universities you mentioned and we don't generalize which is better or worse; we're all trying to improve.

im sorry. just cant get hyped about lec atm. sure some teams look great, but best of 1 single round robbin has so far just shown.. some teams can do well b01, but come playoffs, same 3/4 teams will be top 4, and bunch of those that looked great just taper off...i will say, i still love the broadcast quality and talent, and i think they get lots of unfair flack

on the topic of noah, i think that you just have to experience overwhelming skill gap to really improve. at msi noah learned that he is far from the peak and that there are still things he can and has to improve at. i think fanatic roster is already good but i still don't see them being on the same potential as their former legends were. i think the general talent has decreased a bit in the west but only because there are no balanced teams anymore. all lec teams are somewhat gapping in from their top talents to the ones that are always in the backpack. also i think that support is most unforgiving, you are supposed to play tanks when support tanks are sheiiiit compared to real tanks (like k'sante and skarner only tanks in the game currently). i just hope the meta shifts a bit soon. i hate kalista and varus and want to see some hyper adc with sorakka, or anything with sorakka since warmogs is mega op now and noone profits as much as sorakka does.

That's why I think Jankos is still doing gods work, bc my man is still streaming at least twice a week, still funny in interviews and hyper enough to make his analysises actually fun to watch. Like many, I fear the day he retires.

it just got boring, lec no longer has a tangible identity. Everyone who used to give it soul is either gone or simply got fired and what's left feels rather neutered.. Which i find is even worse then being bad.. it's not bad, it's just.. not interesting anymore. Even when the teams all sucked, the production was the reason u watched LEC.. even that's gone now.

LEC has no content, no effort put into marketing and connecting with the community, the games are garbage, the format is garbage, the talent is garbage, bring back Quickshot, the LEC has no soul anymore I hate it. Coming from a huge fan of the past 6 years. It's an embarrassment and I'm not blaming the talent of course, not like Medic can do anything about it and not like Giniro can say no to being on the LEC, despite the fact I don't like her at all on camera, I get that. Its 2 weeks of regular season, i dont think we can say wow fnatic is the best team in eu. Would be very veryyy surprised to see them do better at worlds then at msi, noah just isnt it and oscar is so on and off it cant be enough to be good at worlds

LEC had the absolute best production and the absolute best casters. Medi/vedi was great. Quickshot was cool. Drakos and Caedrel was the greatest caster duo in existence. Then they ruin it. They ruin prodiction, they treat their casters and other talent poorly. Like everyone loves broxah. Let him sit there instead of some of the new guys that aren’t so well liked. I feel like sjokz also doesn’t get treated the way she deserves by rito. They make poor changes to the format. We don’t try fearless draft, so every game you have to watch ksante and skarner. Its just tiring that we as fans could produce a better tournament.

My theory is that G2 has been purposefully playing poorly/riskily in the early game in order to get practice at playing from behind. If they gave it their all from the get go, they would never have a challenge, so they couldn't grow. It's like training in the hyperbolic time chamber.

The LEC production and cast are just fine. My problem are the teams that keep importing Korean imports, these players have no personality, don't speak English. Never do interviews or content. They are all just merchants playing cause they couldn't get into tier 1 LCK. At least LCS is making something of their imports and including them in content. So we end up with just the rotation of the same 10 EU players in LEC content over and over again. For example, berserker has been in the LCS since 2022 and has been in tons of content and feels like part of the league, so are Huhi, Impact and Umti. I've never heard anything from Peach, Photon, Chasy, Ice.

i honestly think ya'll should calm down about the whole "omg lec and lcs is low quality and there was a whole layoff thing so staff is struggling". As heartless as this may sound: esports is NOT a big deal in EU and NA compared to asia. literally not even 10%. so ofc riot will prefer to fully support the asian staff and put all their promotions and money in asia. it sucks that ya'll lost your jobs, but if youre working in the esport world and you work in eu/na, surely you went in with the expectation that it is not a permanent source of income, right? at least with one company. From a business standpoint, it makes sense why riot is putting their money in asia because the returns will always be double. In NA/EU lol is legit memed as a bad game here so why would they want to do anything for our regions? Best way to get riots attention is to stop complaining about the things that have happened and start showing that the esport world is actually alive in our region and there is tons of profit in it. Look at ibai and caedrel with their viewerships. Those guys are actually enjoying the games and for the "low quality" games they still make content that distracts from the "bad" games. I see this happen from time to time on the lec stream from the casters, but my god you guys spiral and it bores the viewers a lot more. For example, vedi and medi will talk about the most irrelevant topic during a "low quality" game for so long that it bores me from the actual game. It's fine to comment on other things but dont do it for 5 minutes straight xD TLDR: stop complaining about what keyboard warriors complain about and focus on the passion you have for LoL and your region. Get riot's attention by showing how alive the esport world is and avoid complaining bc it wont make ur boss care any more ps: love you guys and i truly hope ya'll enjoy casting as much as i love watching lec games, including "low quality" ones kekw

I find it so disingenuous to talk about the younger audience and getting into LCS and pro play in general without addressing the massive elephant in the room. How are you supposed to get into LoL/pro play while there are 160+ champions in the game to choose from, it's absolutely horrendous when you factor in the toxicity from the veteran community expecting every player to know what they are doing at all ranks. FFS even an active pro player didn't know that GP barrels could crit until he was in a literal pro match. Riot and the community make being a new player an absolutely atrocious experience.

LEC is interesting this season, dont pay attention to reddit its an NA propaganda machine that loves to flame LEC but meanwhile they have 70k viewers and LEC has 400k viewers xD
