In this video, the details of the three different diversity types available in the DSQD digital 4-channel receiver are explained, with recommendations for choosing each, and how to set them up. Switched diversity, ratio diversity and frequency diversity methods are available in this new digital receiver. The D Squared system represents the state of the art for wireless microphone system design, with digital audio and transmission, 24 bit/48 kHz conversion, Dante outputs, and extreme rack density. System features include 24 bit, 48 kHz digital audio, 2-way IR sync, three levels of encryption, talkback, and a tuning range from 470-608 MHz (470-614 MHz for export versions). Karl, Is the antenna switching diversity you describe here in your first example the same switch diversity technique that's implemented on the Venue1 & SRC aka Smart Diversity that uses antenna phase switching?

Michael, it is similar but not exactly the same. In the case of the DSQD, the switching diversity is simpler - it chooses the signal from one antenna OR the other, and does not combine them in/out of phase.
