This Lecture is Great. Professor has explained software engineering so well that if you want to learn something, you won't forget a word. Some guys are complaining about the speed and energy. I have to say something to those guys, please don't watch nptel lecture to pass judgement, enjoy this lecture, learn something and say thanks ! and the latest NOC series is good, lecture duration is around 30 min for most of lectures and even less. If you want to learn something, first have patience, if you are watching lectures to pass few days before exam, then don't complain about anything. Thanks.

I agree Akash. I feel people are whining too much instead of actually learning the material provided.

Bro are you lost ,there is something known as enthusiasm which should be present during teaching and most of the nptel lectures lack this they are not interactive like others who teach on RU-vid this is the major drawback.
@aakashpreetam7383
@aakashpreetam7383 5 лет назад
@@umairalvi7382 Why are you so negative. Maybe you are lost. I know what you're saying. So what? No one is forcing you to watch these lectures. Why do you complain? A lot of people in India pay lakhs of rupees for B.Tech in substandard colleges and then they judge NPTEL videos ! NPTEL videos are free and of good quality. Why don't you read a book and watch these lectures simultaneously. Maybe you don't know how to study. Try reading a book and then maybe you'll be able to appreciate these lectures.

I agree with you the condition of engineering in india is extremely extremely bad. But some interest should be present while teaching like some of the other lecture series of nptel are very good .

I'm from Colombia obviously I'm not an english native speaker, the slow speed it's a great advantage for us - and many people from a lot of countries. I prefer an off voice over the "funny clowns" of another platforms; and the content is great. It's the student or listener who has to pay attention and be motivated, not the teacher... maybe because is the listener who wants to learn something new. Thank so much to NPTEL for give this lectures, a complete engineering course to the world.

Great to know this as an Indian. Indian govt came with this idea of NPTEL. The aim of this initiative is to make available subject experts from top Indian universities to common students of India and the world. 👍

These lectures can cure insomnia. The big fat degrees in India (along with the big fat egos of their recipients) have obviously failed to produce engaging teachers. Check out the professors from International universities who produce courses on edx, Coursera etc. and the difference in enthusiasm for teaching becomes very evident.
@golupandey1006
@golupandey1006 3 года назад
you hardly know IIT then and interest should be from students and not professors. My professors hardly tells anything in class bt if you go meet him in free time he will tell everything only if you are interested enough. whats the point of teaching when students hardly wants to show something from their sides. courses on edx are made to earn money these lectures are not made to earn mpney so you have to work hard along with them just like in IIT.

@@golupandey1006 They are surely knowledgeable but the teaching style kills the enthusiasm and interest you were talking about. Especially when watching for hours. I also agree that we have to be grateful for these free lectures

@@golupandey1006 You obviously have no idea how lecturing as a skill works at all do you? Students have to pay attention sure, but teachers need to make their delivery attention worthy, its not one sided.
