Damn good lecture series. I was lucky to find these set of videos. It is helping me a lot while studying my robotics systems -1 course at my university. In fact, I am learning a lot more interesting details here.
Quality of teaching needs to improve a lot. Sorry to say , but there is no animated or live demonstration of the configurations and joints the instructor is just doing it with his hands and the instructor's command in English is not really that well. I don't like the way how robotics is taught in this course. I can't believe that it's a course by IIT's professors .
Quality of English is pretty good in my opinion. For an Indian like me I can understand what Prof is saying. As for animation, that is something you can pick up from other youtube videos. I am an experienced Engineer, doing my Masters in Robotics and AI. These video lectures are precise, get straight to the point and are way better then reading a text-book trying to imagine things in my head :D
You have to get someone who can speak English better to really learn this I want to learn this. And a white guy doing this video play around to much. I work in this field and want to learn how to repair the robot arm.
