It is commonly known as Indian bael but it has many names like golden apple, stone apple, wood apple. The tree is native to the Indian sub-continent. It is found in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Malaysia. Bael fruit is a sweet aromatic grows on the 12 meters high tree. It is rich in vitamin-C, beta carotene, vitamin-B, and minerals like potassium, calcium, manganese, zinc, copper, and iron. It prevents bacteria-induced diarrhea, fight skin infection, reduces gas in the stomach also may reduce cancer risk.
