Prof. Ioannidis is one of the best in the field of systemic research, yet- he 'systemically' fails to declare HIS OWN largest conflict of interest: tiny elitist group of formally credentialed scientists at high prestige employers (like Stanford U.) vs much larger global group of 'citizen scientists', who are much more powerful force in modern global science, threatening to make 'old mainstream' mainly (80-90%) irrelevant in pursuit of truth and discovery. Professionally I was almost 50-50 on both sides, so I can see the true big picture. Think what happened with mainstream media as an example.
