After an extensive search i realized this is probably one of the only E90 LCI Angel Eye LED upgrade videos FOR HALOGENS on youtube. Thanks for showing us halogen guys some love! It isnt our fault the original owner passed on the headlight upgrade lol

The Angel Eyes looks better on the halogens too! I have Xenons in my 335i and they don’t look as good with the Halos.

BMWs are so damn confusing bro. I bought H8's and i was told it would fit the LCI models, HAD I NOT REALIZED THE LCI & BASIC HALOGEN USE DIFFERENT BULBS!!!!!!

asvpshmooglez do research before buying, dont rely solely on the sellers word that it is going to fit. Ask the BMW community first! There is so much info out there man, BMW guys help each other out. Matter fact if you ever need any help hit me on IG @Rockstarrrblady

Update: these were great for 10 months then one of them burned out. I just received LUX led’s and about to try them out.

Hey i decided to buy these leds after watching your video and i installed it on mine. I installed the rite one first two days ago. And it worked fine but today that i installed the left one it worked for a minute then both went out. And now They dont work neither my head lights and when i turn on the car the rite angel light doesnt work but headligh does and for the left one the angel light does work but not the headlight

Hey, I also bought led bulbs a while ago for my e90. When its cloudy outside or early in the morning, not that much sun they look pretty good. But when the sun shines u cant see them :S I bought them 3 or 4 years ago, maybe those leds are better? Can you tell me how good u can see your leds when the sun shines? Maybe with a short vid or pic. Ty very much - subbed :D

I have a 2011 328i and mine has the halogen and everything, but my rings are 2 separate bulbs for the inner and outer ring, do you have the same set up? I know it didn't look like it in the video but I just want to make sure

I ended up installing the halogen lux angel eyes and i love them! I am now getting ready to order a set of H7 LED bulbs for my low beam since the stock halogen bulbs now just dont look right with the bright angle eyes on. Should i order a decoder with the bulbs or do i not need a decoder? I dont want any warning lights or issues with the new LED bulbs.

Any issue so far? On amazon page do I select the e90 wt xenon option? Because that the only one that includes e90 but i have halogen.

Edgar Michaus No I believe it's the one the link goes straight to I know it doesn't say e90 which is odd. It's probably because most e90s have the bixenon that use h8 angel eyes. But those are the exact ones I ordered. I've had no issues at all still going strong.

I have a 2011 320d e90, my angel eyes are a yellow colour so I'm guessing they are the halogen ones, do I need genisis bulbs

Yeah they’re halogen bulbs. If the actual headlights are more yellow then you would want the ones I used. If you have more blue headlights that are in a projector housing they’re xenon and you need the h8 ones. Sometimes amazon doesn’t have the kind I used idk why you just have to check it’s hit or miss.

Last question i promess lol. Are these bulbs bright enought during the day so they are visible? Or should I go for Lux v3? Is just that the price on these is tentative! Any problems so far? I really don't know which one to get. Thanks. Ill be getting the silicon intake tube.

Edgar Michaus No problems so far about 2 months in. Yes during the day I can even make out their reflection on cars in front of me in traffic. These are less than half the price of the LUX V3s. I don't think you would go wrong with these. LUX are also very good just about double the price.

I assume you received the newest ones . Mine do not have that "box" ( error canceller ?) . Probably yours are brighter than mine in daytime , i am not sure .

Probably halogen all you need to do to check is pop your hood and see if the headlights have valeo printed in them. If they do then they’re halogen if not xenon.

I have 80 w LEDs in my 2009 e92 yet only one of the circles lights up. I've tried to repositioning them and buying different brands and different wattages but always same results which are inside Halo circle is bright while outer one is barely visible in daylight and super dim at night time. Anyone have any ideas?

It is basically impossible to fix this due to the design of the e92 headlights. The same issue occurs on certain e90 headlights too. There are several different headlights for e90 my 328i had great halos the 335i had the bright inner ring and dim outer ring.

I don't know the wattage the box says 3 times as bright as halogen and I'd say that is probably accurate.

I coded them to do that with Carly for BMW (it’s an app for iPhone and android) you can also do it via inpa software which can be downloaded to your computer from bimmergeeks.net

I had them coded to run 100% of the time. Basically as daytime running lights.

I just installed these on my 2011 323i and they're not bright at all. As if they're not getting enough power. Only the bottoms of the halo rings really light up. And not very bright.

I have a 2010 328i with the same headlights. I've been doing so much research on headlight bulb upgrades.. Now the tricky part, are you able to access the high and low beam bulbs as well from the engine bay? Thanks

ChampNike it's a very tight fit in there but I don't see why not. If you have any excuse to take the wheel off that will give you much better access. But I'm sure you would be able to do so through the engine bay.

BMW-E90-HQ I really don't want to take the fender lining and wheel off haha, but I'll have to take a look more in the engine bay for sure! Do you think there's enough room in the high and low beam housings for an LED conversion?

ChampNike it looks like you'd have to either remove the entire fixture or go through the fender liner to access the low beam but you could probably get away with just turning the wheel to the limit as opposed to removing it. The high beam though looks like it should be fairly easy access.

ChampNike I installed the Philips Crystal Ultra's for my low beams last week and they look great. Super white Xeon look. $25.00 on Amazon but Pep Boys auto parts price matched for me. (They originally wanted $50). I tried LED's in a previous BMW and had constant errors no matter what I tried. I then bought the Philip's Crystal Ultra's and they do the job.

Man i don't have any kind of angel eyes on my 2007 e90. If i plug this on will they look like yours or u should already have angel eyes and this code as an upgrade?

You have to have the proper headlight assembly or there will be nowhere to put them. If you have a spot for them I’d imagine it’s plug and play.

It depends on if you have the same headlights look under the hood and see if you have the Valero headlights with the Angel eyes to know for sure.

Andres A Care to explain? Besides that it has an LCI hood, bumper, trunk, taillights, and headlights it also has a build date of 8/09 everything after 9/08 is an LCI. I think I know my own car but as always I appreciate the input.

Andres A I would definitely check the connections first I had issues with connections staying in at one point. If that doesn’t work I’d return them. Mine are still running fine. I think they make a good product that has been my experience.

@@CryptoGrims the SULEV model comes with a secondary air pump for the catalytic and it sits right behind the passenger headlight making it extremely difficult to get to that light unless you go through the wheel well

Thanks for the video. It surprises me that yours is an LCI and it does not have the same headlight bulbs as mine. I have a 2010 325i European version and it's different. It has the same grid, same bumper and everything is very similar. However, the DRL is a standard H8 type and it's located in a different way. Yours just looks like the pre-lci ones which go under the xenon ones. It's different. So just for anyone reading this, do check which headlights your LCI e90 has because they are not all the same. Alejandro Blumenfeld its baffling me aswell. Every lci seems to have different ways to do it. I went to bmw today and they gave me the same as what hes removed in this vid. But every other vid has the standard H8. And others you have to go into the wheel arch to remove. Ill see tomoz if i have the right ones. Bmw 320i lci

Juanamo FPV Hey! Well yeah you are facing the same situation as me. I have changed mine with standard Phillips h8 which makes it much easier as it's not special. The pre lci has that special bulb which is rare and expensive you can't just get it on any store. Most people are replacing them with LED bulbs. I have been checking h8 LEDs but I cannot find one that doesn't throw error code on BMW. They work but after residing the reviews people claim that they throw error codes on BMW's. So all in all do check which bulb it has before just installing that one that the BMW dealership gave you. I hope this helps more people in the same situation. Good luck with yours!
