Hard to decide between these 2. I really enjoy wine influence on peated whiskies so I would probably give the Rioja a nod, but the 10 is better matured. Tough call. Glad I have 2 bottles of the 18 which owns both of these!!!!
Yeah I too enjoy the red wine or fortified wine + peat combo. I actually went into this one thinking the Sinclair Series would likely have the edge, but once I put them side-by-side, the quality of the Ledaig 10 is undeniable. This is why I love doing these versus videos, some of my favourite to do!
I have both, love both, but good job on this. I know exactly how I feel about them, but sat transfixed waiting for your outcome. These both sit firmly in my top 5.

Well, what can I say, I'll agree with you, Ledaig 10 got a little bit more of everything, but the other one is not far behind. Both are really great value whisky 🌞
I’ve enjoyed the 10 before but it sounds like I really need to try the Sinclair Series. Like you, I love those contrasting whiskies where there’s a balance between two distinct notes.
