wait a minute... with social engineering/smart contracts, how do you know that a malicious contract wont reroute your transaction? I just read a post on reddit that an ETH transaction was rerouted when he sent it from CB to his Ledger, and now he's out of one ETH. I'm trying to learn about this soc eng thieving crap , so plz explain like Im a noob.
BUYER BEWARE! Ledger is having a bug with ETH, Where if you send yourself ETH from coinbase to your ledger wallet, that the ETH won't show up in transaction history but that your ETH balance should be accurate. My is NOT, I sent myself $600 worth of ETH, AND I %110 used the correct address. ETH never showed up and ledger won't get back too me, BEWARE DONT SEND YOURSELF ETH OR YOU TAKE THE CHANCE OF LOSING IT LIKE ME.
The last couple of months, the Ledger Live updates are not downloading! Have tried it many times but it stays on 0% for hours. Cleared cache, also tried connecting my Nano S and trying an update, but still nothing! Never had this issue with previous updates.
they stole 1 eth on the stick, it's always been disconnected from the computer and the security words are in the safe, I'm very angry, I wanted to inform everyone that it's a scam, don't use it. Furthermore, the assistance does nothing and does not help you recover your money
