Maybe if the televised Grammys bring back real singers, like this, ratings wouldn’t decline every year and people of all different backgrounds would watch. Regardless of what music genre you prefer: great singers are great singers.
yes see and that's why I get annoyed because taylor and weekend and beyonce aren't the best. there's talet needed to sing this but grammy's is a con man game infuencing the culture in a demonic manner its not about awarding hardworking talent.
I wasn’t expecting Ledisi to sing in French. « Ne me quitte pas » (don’t leave me) originally sang by Jacques Brel. I’m French so I totally adore her interpretation. I love how she smoothly slided from French to English ❤
@@brixandbloomsyeah totally I read the title I knew which version it was. The original French version has depth but no technical difficulties so I like how she twisted it.
Fantastic performances. Deserved the standing ovation. Deserved a lot more media attention too. Because I didn’t even hear about this until now. It also deserves a video that .Fantastic performances. @@PerryPerfectPerson do u see the majority of acts that are on the Grammys? The Grammys views keep declining, but if we had more performances and artists like this tons more would watch the show.
French too wow she really isn’t doing Nina Simone justice see I wish the Grammys had more performances like this! The calibre of singer that Ledsi is really falling into the 90s and 2000s talent wise my god ! 🥺❤
One of my favorite songs. I usually listen to the Celine version. Ledisi is so underrated! She did a great job as always! I never heard the song in English. It was so beautiful I had to close my eyes🥰
