Just saying: Since Amazon has bought the rights to LOTR, Hobbit and All Middle Earth.......we should have a WORLDWIDE petition for a series to be dedicated to King Thranduil and the Elven Kingdom!!! They are going to do a backstory about Aragorn........I want the King of Elves! Lee already said that he would love to reprise the role......and he is still gorgeous enough to play the gorgeous Elf King!!
Mr. Pace created such the remarkable Elvenking of Mirkwood. He combined in his image the unmatchable characters: a huge height and extraordinary grace of movements, stern male eyebrows and gentle female gaze, capriciously pursed lips with firm and haughty expression of the mouth, power and fury of a real warrior with icy composure. The Greeks had a notion - charisma - an elegance combined with the power. That's exactly what he meant. Mr. Pace is worthy to be called the Elvenking of Mirkwood.
@@forneus3384 Each actor on set has a designated chair to sit in when they are not acting but waiting to be called on to the stage. Across the back of the chair there is a piece of canvas cloth to lean against. The black thing Lee Pace was handed first is the chair backing for his chair on the set. His name Thranduil was embroidered with gold thread across it. Peter Jackson gave it to him as a keepsake. I hope I explained it clearly enough.
Great of Lee Pace to be giving a gift, Thranduil's, sword for working in LOTR/The Hobbit. Have any of the other cast, who've not worked before in Lord of Rings for those three movies, received gifts or is there a mentioning/showing of that too. Which I've seen that for in Return of the King feature.
If Amazon wants a hit series, it better have the King and Elves! I do not want to see humans or dwarves. Neither does millions of fans around the world.
