I have not had any breakdowns at all on the Viessmann Boilers i have installed, Not one breakdown. They are all covered by 10 year parts and labour warranty, No need to worry about part costs. Thanks for the comments. 👍

In Europe viessmann is very popular, they are really good boiler and 10 years warranty ( if the boiler was installed by viessmann installer ) is very good. In two boilers installed by me was a problem with the grunfoss smart pump and on one PCB failed. Probably I was just unlucky)

Lee Monaghan Yeah you’re dead right there it looks like this one got murdered prematurely ! I’v got a few viessmann 100’s running 10 years plus old & no problems at all

If the system is flushed on install then they should never get like this. New Viessmann 100 is now copper. Thanks.

We have a ATAG Q38C and it’s fantastic, it’s a storage type combi so has a small hot water cylinder built inside of it, this means the boiler doesn’t have to fire up every time someone washes their hands and it has good hot water flow rates. It has no plastic or rubber parts inside and looks easy to service / repair, ATAG also claim to make the most efficient boilers in Europe. The negatives are the boiler alone retails for £2k+ and I did struggle finding someone to service it as most gas engineers aren’t familiar with them.

Most of the higher priced boilers. If they are installed well they will last.

This is on the heating side, It’s not scale it’s debris from the system.

Virtually all cars have rubber water pipes.
