My favorite pie. Usually make it myself as it seems impossible in my area to buy a palatable one. Definitely trying this method. Love it chilled and sliced.

Looks delicious! Would love to make this. I thought the leftover filling would be very nice on toast with cheese melted on top. I'd call it Leeds Rarebit, 'cos you're in Leeds.

You need to grease trays prick bottoms with fork is what I do will definitely try this thankyou

Prick the bottoms? Why? You do that when blind-baking but not otherwise.
