The 6-0 was crazy but I think I get what he means. A legendary set is like him vs mang0 that one genesis where it came down to the wire. Or if you followed DBFZ, his set vs G01 that had everybody goobing by the end.
I think it's definitely in the realm of possibility. Fox yoshi has been considered 6-4 for awhile now, and the punish game is uniquely yoshi favored as he has a lot of options others don't and he obviously has continuously developing punish on fox. As a former yoshi sheik main, the matchups are pretty similar except yoshi has better but harder to apply neutral tools at least at low percent. Yoshi also has some of the best edgeguarding especially against fox. FD has also been a huge pick recently, and If i recall correctly, it used to be considered one of if not yoshis worst stage universally. Even if 5-5 is possible, I think that's under the assumption yoshi is playing peak gamer performance. Yoshi easily top 3ish most technical characters as well as having a lot of moves that are simply worse than the top tiers Simple answer: Leffen likely just thinks the matchup is 6/4 or like 5.5/4.5 and not that much matchup experience vs most labbed matchup by a lab monster makes it pretty even
@@tetros5265 Oh I know, watching amsa win majors back to back after big house 10 was all the convincing I needed to see the matchup as more then doable. I'm just referring to the meta of the game constantly changing even now.
@@Mufflin I mean yeah, Yoshi's kit was just never explored and developed that much like all the other Top Tiers, until amsa did it. With current Knowledge I think you can put Yoshi around Peach in the Tierlist
Looking back at last year there is no chance in hell fox yoshi is even amsa pretty much exclusively struggled against foxes last year and it made it looks impossible to win against top foxes
