insight into zain's yoshi here: He said he's following aMSa advice and is not focused on parry to start. focused on djc and more basic tech with edge cancels He had no idea Paul is PPMD
PPMD is Demi Fiend in Avatar Tuner; a God so powerful before now casually living about his life, and pray that if you come across him, you bring nothing less than your A-Game.
It's funny because of all the "PP plays this top player" videos, Zain's definitely the top player we've seen PP fight most lately because of GG Melee (RIP)
Totally agree he would be great! But realistically he's long since retired competitively. If you wanna feel old it's been literally been 8 years since he last entered a tournament. And with chronic fatigue syndrome, I can't see him ever having the energy to grind the game and travel to events again. He's still plenty prominent community member though, doing regular streams, giving out advice and what not.
Watching him on stream vs Salt made it clear why he hasn't returned. He would call out situations and what he needed to do but would exclaim how his body wouldn't react quick enough or the way he needed to. Imagine being held back like that by your body and health :(
@@twelvevoltageyeah, I can imagine it. My hands shit the bed multiple times while playing melee and I wasn’t even using technical characters, it’s just the wavedash input rly bothered my wrists with repetitive motions
He just wants to play the game for fun. Don't know what's with this cringe mentality. Imagine just trying to enjoy your favorite game and being heckled for not constantly playing the best of the best while not in the best health. I think the Melee community needs some sympathy personally.@@manaboosted
Either he just wants to have fun and doesn’t want to have that expectation or he’s training for his big come back which would be more dramatic than a slow ramp up of playing top players more - just guessing but those are the only 2 reasons I can think of

@@bigboy2217 nahhh you put bowser with yoshi... fr. Maybe zain#0's yoshi lmao or its just massive bait so that everyone thinks zain's yoshi sucks and now he's gonna clutch up the money matches, like some fox says your yoshi is trash I'll put 10 to 1 but then somehow it's like thousands of dollars somehow, idk I guess this got awfully specific, but I can just see some various schemes going on here. Or just a raw "secret" yoshi unranked film as PP put it. Guess we'll never know, but I'm happy it being that way.
@@snared_ I mean bowser belongs with yoshi in this specific way. Most low tiers have a manageable jumpsquat and options that parallel each other so that you can play some sort of fundamentals game. But bowser's squat is insanely long so unless you practice him you can barely move. Yoshi doesn't have a jump oos which has insane ramifications if you haven't specifically learned his alternatives.
