So happy I found your lefty videos! I absolutely love this blanket and can't wait to make it. Do you think I could get away with using Lion Brand Mandala for this project? It is a 3-DK and was thinking 3 skeins? Any input or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you so much for all you do!

@@kattb585 I think this should work well on these easy repeat baby blankets. I've used this yarn only once (on the Ripple & Bobbles baby blanket on this channel), but I really liked it.

On the first row you start on the 5th chain did you count the the first chain that the hook is in at chain 1? I keep coming up one chain short.

Question: you said to change size it is multiples of 4; but you chained 85. How come? Is it multiple +1? I'm really new to crochet 🤔

You got it Jill! When working the starting chain, you always need to consider the turning chain, and sometimes working stitches across may add an additional stitch at the beginning or at the end. If you just add multiples of 4 to the existing 85 chains, you should be fine.
