Ultimate Barbecue Brisket Burger - Recipe
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
4 ounces chopped brisket
4 slices American or cheddar cheese
4 hamburger buns
¼ cup BBQ sauce
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Cajun or Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 cup coleslaw mix
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Directions
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and form each portion into a thin patty.
Place a small amount of chopped brisket and a slice of cheese on 4 of the patties.
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Grill the burgers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
While the burgers are cooking, mix together the BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, Cajun or Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill, in the oven, or skillet.
To assemble the burgers, spread the BBQ sauce mixture on the bottom bun.
Place a handful of coleslaw mix on top of the BBQ sauce.
Place the stuffed patty on top of the coleslaw and sprinkle with chopped cilantro (if using).
Add the top bun and serve immediately.
