Honestly it seems the guys do better when theirs only 4 cooks in pass it on because there is one less idea floating about the kitchen, although that one is normally James and losing the big sassy ginge is a big loss when trying to counteract the chef:normal ratio 😂😂

@@SortedFood When you get a new kitchen, the ovens should definitely be on eye level. Maybe also positioned somewhere to the side where the camera can take a look without getting in the way.

Yep and then he just went with it and screwed it up too and had some fun. Lol great episode. Did anyone notice Ben like 2 min in had like 4 pots and pans going at once already creating all these dishes and then Jamie 4 minutes in, had done absolutely nothing. They even edited it down because he didn’t even talk for the 4 minutes. And Mike took 10 minutes to throw it on a plate! Haha! What a great episode

Sorted is amazing because I think their content is accessible to all, especially in their more recent videos having bleeped 99% of the swearing that comes from Jamie normally 😂, and they produce content that no matter age or gender anyone can watch and maybe even learn from, like I learned many of my favourite dishes to cook just from watching these guys like the sausage and bean stew Barry cooked in the £10 cook off and Bens version of the beef Wellington he cooked against mikes £110 one, they’re both so affordable, yet so tasty and I have been able to make small adjustments to the menus to fit my tastes, haven’t even considered buying their packs app because all the meal suggestions they provide us (not normally from Pass it On though 😂) are so accessible because the walkthroughs, although not as in depth as it would be on the Packs App, are good enough that with my limited kitchen and cooking skills can provide good meals for me and anyone I cook for.

Also while I’m here and have written an entire essay on these guys and their content I’ll provide a top to anyone for their midweek meals that I’ve picked up from these guys work. I would definitely recommend not following many of Barry’s recipes he comes up with in the budget battles, I’ve found that they just taste and feel like they’re ‘almost’ there in terms of taste and texture but with a little bit more money spent on it they could be incredible, they’re almost a quick after work cook which are okay but Jamie’s bibbimbaprecipe, with the steak and many vegetables like bean sprouts, carrots and cucumber is incredible, all the best flavour especially for a midweek meal getting in from work, and I’ve learned to make a little cheese sauce on the side with basic ingredients with things that are always in the cupboard, being butter, flour, milk and cheddar cheese, and it’s an incredible dish to make for yourself or for a group. Fair play to him for making that because that did come from one of their meal packs and yet he’s shown us how to make it in a video and it’s an absolutely incredible dish. I’m just glad that the community they’ve created is such a diverse group because I would never imagine that I watch the same sort of videos as an American mother being a 20 year old British guy, but here we are and I’m sure the diversity is even larger than just that, I’m sure there are people from every continent and people from every walk of life who watch these guys and it’s incredible to be in the sorted community with you all❤

Sorry for the essay that any English teacher would be proud of but I’m just glad I can communicate with you all because these guys bring us together to brighten our days and have helped me get through so many tough times by just watching a few videos and giving me an easy laugh when I need it and hope that the Sorted community will always stay the same. ❤

Barry is getting better

I spent so much time screaming "CHECK THE OVEN!!!" while watching this episode that my mum heard me, thought that the oven in our house was on, meanwhile I kept hearing someone running back and forth from the kitchen (wood flooring) and then 2 minutes later I heard her voice outside my bedroom door screaming "There's nothing in the oven! I've checked 3 times! And it's not even on! For God's sake! Stop screaming "check the oven"!" And then I stopped screaming, paused the video and just stared out the window as I felt my soul slowly leave my body and myself just dying a little on the inside each time I glanced back at the screen with the intent to press the play icon. 10 minutes later, I resumed the video and the sad sense of being right for all the wrong reasons, coupled the since of mourning for the cheese that didn't make it to the plate, left me questioning the futility of life... So... Yes, I agree with this post. Strongly.

Instead of having "vegan" under handicaps, maybe a different die for dietary restrictions: vegan, gluten-free, kosher, lactose intolerance, allergies, or similar. How challenging the restriction is depends on the other rolls. For instance, lactose intolerance would probably be easy for dinner, but difficult for dessert.

I don't know, I feel like the Pastry episode had a worse final result but this one is just so much more depressing

It´s always like that. He also, can never acknowledge when he´s wrong or not the best. I guess, even the other guys know this and therefore make him the winner, every time he competes with them, or with Ben alone. They know that if they do not make him the winner, he would leave. (What I don´t understand is, why would that be a problem?!)

Chemistry lab changed me. I never put my nose straight into anything else to sniff, I do hand motions to waft the aroma

it's either too much direction or not enough direction. Also, it doesn't help that the chefs choose some pretty out there ingredients that baffles all the normals.

@@andrester88 Which is why A normal has to start the dish. Chefs and their Chefy skills just are too confusing or railroady with their cooking that the Normals just end up all confused and wondering what have they done wrong in life to deserve what they are receiving.

@@SortedFood I'd love to see one of these where the guys get 5 minutes to discuss a general plan at the onset and then no more conferring. If it runs smooth and isn't "exciting" at least we get to witness a well-executed dish and the benefits of planning. If things fall apart we get the joy of the teams added frustration from knowing there was a plan but forgetting what the hell it was.
