Hi Mark my missis had a migraine when we were camping i had read willow leaf was a cure so I reassured her and gave her some leaves to eat!,, she was so sick she forgot about the headache

You doing very well! Just watch for too hot fire underneath potjie, it can burn your food easily, actually only coals...and a fire one side from where you take more coals if needed, charcoal or brickettes works very well also...making potjie, you should have lots and lots of patients, basically cooking on coals only and not too much fluid...

Most probably the best Potjie on You Tube old chap. You managed the liquid perfectly and it is not a pot full of soup like most of them.. This Dutchie will soon try that delicious leg of lamb of yours👏👏🐑🐑🍺🍺🍷🍷

Once again showing how the other half live. Lamb needs to be eaten otherwise we'd be overrun.

The Dutch for small pot is 'Potje'

There is different size potjies, you can bake a bread in it, cook rice, maize meal( traditional South Africa dish) and all different proteins. im curious how you obtained your potjie?
