Bonus Shaving tip 4# have some kind of shaving cream or oil on before you shave. It’ll act as another layer of protection and will make shaving easier with less resistance

every shaving cream i use clogs my razors, doesn't matter what razor i use either. soap in the shower works better (for me at least lol)

I have never shaved my legs, and I'm almost 60. I was a natural blonde my whole life with very fine, almost non-existent leg hair. I saw a girl on the swim team with a tan whose very fine blonde hair sparkled. I liked it, so I copied it. I dye my hair red now, but My hair stopped growing years ago.

This short, and in turn the whole video, was very helpful in the way I actually started a new shaving routine because of it. That being said, I really want them to revisit this topic, because there’s more options I want to see from it: if lotion afterwards makes a difference; how shaving compares to other means of hair removal (creams, wax, laser treatment); how to combat ingrown hairs. Stuff like that.

Also just a personal tip, don't use an old razor from 10 years ago to shave your leg hair and croch. Did so recently and I still have a rash :(

In my experience shaving dry is better because my leg hairs are harder to see when wet plus the lighting in the bathroom isn't the best which makes it worse so I shave dry with a strait razor because the beard trimmer I tried before wasn't the best so I decided not to deal with them anymore

It’s much easier to shave in the shower :) I was taught to shave upwards, and after showering not to put deodorant on for about an hour at least

My dad taught my bf open your teeth and smush your lips in so your lips don’t show, stretch your upper lip out by opening your jaw with your mouth closed, then shave up to down from lip to nose, clean off extra cut hair, then smush your lips to one side while you shave from the outside of your mouth to your nose on the other side and repeat for the opposite side. He does this every day and says it’s the only way that works for him
