@@angieroman6723 doesn't seem like she is since she lacks vampire traits such as speed,strength,thirst for blood, the abilitiy to compel others etc. I think one of the reasons for this is because you can't be a witch and a vampire at the same time unless you are a siphon which is a special type of witch. I dont know how the rules affect hope since she is unique the only one of her kind

@@ironindustries9258 No she doesn’t have to die she can Just trigger her Vampire side also she can be a Tribrid, I mean she didn’t lost her magic when she triggered her werewolf side and we got to know that a ‘werewolf can’t be a witch’ Remember the scene when Hollow(Inadu) cursed her tribe with werewolf curse after that her tribe lost their magic. So a werewolf can’t use magic But Klaus wasn’t a Tribrid because when he became a vampire he lost his magic so basically Klaus was a witch and a werewolf but he wasn’t a vampire unlike Hope she was born as a Three Species witch, werewolf and vampire.

Watching "Legacies" feels like watching a mature, explicit version of some children's fantasy television series about schools. The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted on "Legacies" is basically TVD universe's version of Monster High, Ever After High, Alfea College ("Winx Club") and Auradon Prep ("Descendants").

@@tyshaunjones281 the importance of family and the determination they have to protect one another, the family drama which are basically normal family drama converted in drastic family drama scenes, the action, blood, and drama. Not to mention they are way more mature and deal with (kind of in a way) real problems just turned drastically to fit the show's image. And another reason I prefer this show over Legacies its bec its more realistic, (and don't even get me started on how much Legacies is unrealistic and stupid, I could write an essay) and I prefer this show over TVD because it's more mature, less repetitive, doesn't have humanity switches anymore (those were dumb) and the show isn't based on one character only like TVD did with Elena, it's rather based on the original family, and we also get to see the perspective of the bad guys here. And don't even get me started on the finales they were the BEST.

They completed TANKED the last season of "The Originals" for the sake of setting this spin-off up so I've stubbornly ignored this show for the time being. 😂 Edit: I did not expect this comment to bang this hard so here’s a few other points. One: I said “for the time being” so I’m not saying I’ll 100% never watch it; I can’t predict the future. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ Two: I loved Hayley as a character and her relationship with Elijah so barely using her in the final season and having her go out like that was highly irksome and a blatant plot device for setting up an origin story for the spin-off instead of maintaining the integrity of the story already set up on the show itself. Three: I would offer to make a video explaining further why this last season was bad storytelling in relation to the show overall but typically I prefer to make videos about content that I think is good and want to hype up. 👀😄

Am I the only one who watch season 1 of legacies first and liked it. Then find out it is related to the originals, and then watch that too. And finish that and watch TVD next. And thinks the originals is the best one out of the three. And is anyone disappointed by the fact that hope seem more powerful in the originals, but seem less powerful in legacies.

You can very much watch legacies without watching the parent shows. The only reference they make from tvd is Caroline and Jo which has been explained preety well in legacies

So we have Caroline and Alaric’s twin daughters Lizzie and Josie and Klaus and Hayley’s daughter Hope.

Literally spent last weekend binge watching both seasons of this because of this video. I never watch the Vampire Diaries (but I read the books WHEN THEY ORIGINALLY CAME OUT back in the 80s.), and I've think I watched the first episode of The Originals once, but I was still able to follow this without having seen the prior shows. I enjoyed it, so thanks. :D

The first couple of Vampire diaries seasons were so good I feel. Damon, Kathrine and the originals were so intimidating as bad guys that none others came close. The show lost that with time, and the relationships started to get so weird. I think CW shows have a problem staying high quality. The same happened to the originals, the 100, arrow, pretty little lairs.

PLL was Freeform which is owned by ABC, but that show is understandable as even I. Marlene King only wanted 5 seasons but ABC wanted more so it was renewed a few times extra. Agreed with the CW shows though, most can only handle 3-4 seasons, 4 is pushing it even.

this is definitely an issue. it all happens around s3-s4. I think it's because the CW values quantity over quality. they'll keep renewing any show that is mildly successful so they can make money selling reruns. The writers think through about two seasons, but they never have a sustainable, long term plan for where the show can go. S3 seems to be the natural endpoint for a lot of these shows. I think Arrow's unique in that it's improved again with a different showrunner. The 100 gets better every season so I don't really count that one.

@@fay-qp7cn yeah I can't decide. I think it's a necessary part of Oliver's journey that he's not hiding in the shadows. I think it also opens up some new opportunities for storytelling. However, Oliver keeping his identity secret just seems smarter. It protects his family from criminals. Also what happens when the police stop being on his side and decide to arrest him again?

I am not really a fan of it since I've been over that whole trope. Like why can't we just be nice to the people you like? And I really don't like how we keep romanticizing that to teenagers. That is not healthy and in fact it is a red flag. And we wonder why people fall into unhealthy or abusive relationships, when a lot of unhealthy/abusive behaviors are romanticized in media.
