my theory about her still seeing her "humanity self" is that when anyone is poisoned by the clown, you can either confront what you see and be redeemed, or die by being stubborn. Since the clown poison isn't gonna kill the tribrid, her being stubborn has led to this entity of humanity's hope haunting her versus Jed who worked through his past and emotions.

7:04 the forgetting spell doesn't work on the gods means They don't forget who is consumed, but other people do, and that is a problem for them.

OH that makes sense- I was assuming it meant that gods wouldn’t be forgotten if consumed and thought there was something interesting about the gods being so fearful of being forgotten via consumption that it lead to their own demise.

The thing that confuses me is that people didn't forget the Gods though. Jed knew Ben was Prometheus, Aurora knew Jen was Vulcan/Hephestus, Ken is Zues/Jupiter. They are the Greek/Roman deities... Which means I really don't want to meet the God of time. Maybe they forgot they were real and that's how they became myths?? because people wrote about them before they were consumed by Malivore.

to me the simulation was an interesting way for hope to see she needs to bring her humanity back but i wish they would’ve spent a little less time on the actual playing chess and more time on character interactions (like benjed)

I think the reason Hope is seeing her Humanity when no one else did is because Hope never chose to turn off her Humanity, so her subconscious has been fighting to turn it back on, but conscious no Humanity Hope is fighting to keep it off because she doesn't want to feel everything she knows is coming. Also knowing Greek Mythology, the fact that Jen stans the "God of time" Is making me not trust her as much as I want to. My Theory is that yes he called Josie, who made her way to New Orleans. The reason Davina isn't in the next episode is because Josie and Davina are the ones performing the spell to put the Mikelsons in Hopes head.

Wait a dam minute, I actually thought about the limbo place and the timeline makes no sense bc the necromancers acolyte which they helped find peace, was centuries old, so he died before Stefan and Lexi, etc and this place wasn’t around until recently. So how did Lexi and stefan find peace immediately, shouldn’t they have gone to limbo first. And shouldn’t klaus,Elijah, and Hayley be there too. There jars would have also been way bigger then Alaric’s and Landon’s. And the monster that guards the way to peace was created by Cleo in season 3, so did this whole coin thing even exist before then. Bc if not then how come the necromancers acolyte was trapped there for so long. And who guarded it before. Like something does not add up.

I totally agree with you about killing Ethan or MG. I mean I love those characters, but it’s almost like the show runners/writers don’t want to piss off the audience by killing a fan fave character. But honestly they piss us off anyways, so they might as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

About malivore spell not working on the gods she was talking about the spell that makes people forget the gods worked on everyone except the gods so gods still remembered Ben but the humans which are needed to believe in him to give him power or whatever 🧚‍♀️ forgot him

i’d be pretty happy about it - I really want to see hope with a girl and there have definitely been moments where i’ve seen the vision. even though i feel like the show has set them up as having a sisterly bond id be happy to be proven wrong for thinking that.

it just feels like a self fulfilling prophecy that if the gods wake up and find out that SBS has been readying to fight them then it's a guarantee that they will want to fight SBS , especially since it now seems that ben isn't really on their side who know what information he's given them is true.
