Here’s the thing, there was so much going on this episode. The mikaelson reunion should have been the main focus instead of making it a b-plot. Another thing is that they should have used the mikaelson compound instead of rousseau's for the reunion bc that’s were they had there final moments with Klaus and that’s were hope has the most memories from. They should have had hope actually be there instead of Astro projecting and they should have also had hope awaken in her old room instead of a bench bc she could have found the portrait that she painted of her family in finale. She could have also saw the picture frame of her and Hayley to recreate the same scene from the finale. And they could have also had the same dinner at the same table. And instead of having hope storm off from the dinner table to have a battle with her humanity, she could have went to the bayou to where they spread her mothers ashes. To remind herself of the pain she felt when she had to say goodbye to her mother. And that she doesn’t want to relive it by saying goodbye to her father. And they could have also had hope have a breakdown like she did with the squad the previous episode. But this time she could have actually gotten violent and they could have subdued her and possibly done a head dive or something to get some flash backs. Like there was so many different things that they could have done.
When it comes to Kol and Hope the first thing that comes to mind is when he’s talking to her about love and says “The same way your mommy loves..” and Hope cuts in and says “Uncle Elijah” and he says something about her being incredibly well adjusted. 😂
I think Hope’s humanity is still off. I think the only thing that happened was that they switched personalities of who takes over the body. Besides you need both parts (the good and the bad) of yourself to be yourself. You can’t just be one-half of yourself. So when her humanity official comes back we will get her emotional breakdown and she will become one.
What i find weird is like when Elena turned her humanity back on she was a mess and regretted everything she had done and Hope just smiled like it was nothing...I just hope we get to see a scene where she is struggeling with what she'd done
I think that hope is gonna have a breakdown next episode because of the 2 mins they gave her also I think Ben wants to go back is because he got cursed trying to save Asher by stealing the magic so if he goes back no curse
I really enjoyed this episode! I love how they’re building up Cleo’s true power in each episode and that Hope’s humanity is back. The only things I didn’t like was how short we got to see of the Mikael(?)sons but Freya DID mention that they want to be more present so here’s hoping 🤞 and I don’t like how Ben is going behind Jed’s back and trying to revive his dead boyfriend. I understand but at the same time I feel bad for Jed because he revealed his true feeling to Ben and it’s the first boy he got with so 😔
i’m hoping that ben trying to revive ashur is to break his curse to protect jed or something ?? there must be more to it they’ve never run so much promo for a couple on the show especially an lgbt one

Where the heck did Ben learn to drive a truck. I’m surprised he knows where to get one. He shouldn’t even know how to operate it. And the time gap between aurora arriving and Ben kind of doesn’t make sense considering that aurora has a car and Ben is on foot. He should have had a long walk. And I don’t think he can fly like Jen. And Jed should have noticed that Ben was missing, which means he would have told Alaric or the squad something
Hey so this is obv just a theory but I don’t really think hope’s humanity turned on in this episode, hope obviously has a dimmer switch, since she turned it off it’s been slowly coming back and she was fighting it. But i think the mikaelsons just gave her a push to cross over the middle of her humanity dimmer switch. like it’s not on fully, but i think now instead of her being ( humanity off with some emotions) its the opposite.. humanity on hope who’s a little less “humane” or emotional?? i think it’s a fun concept that we never got before. we always had the no humanity variations with vampires but never the humanity variations. so i don’t think her humanity is FULLY on. just partly. and hope also hinted “maybe when i find out why i sat back when you did all those awful things id finally get rid of you for good” so i think there is still more coming that we haven’t seen before and it’s def gonna be an emotional breakdown. having her humanity not fully on is preventing her from feeling the actual horrible things she did. but again it’s just a theory, let me know what you think :)
This is me rewriting this episode. Hope wakes up in her old room in the Mikaelson compound, each Mikealson can come in one by one (that's something I didn't mind about this episode), they all bombard Hope with family memories / family emotions. Hope turns her humanity back on, her emotions are on over drive, her family is there to console her and help her focus on one emotion (just like Damon and Stefan did for Elena after she turned her humanity back on). She manages to focus on one emotion, maybe she is focused on defeating the gods or being with family idk I didn't really figure that part out. I feel like that would've been better idk. Loved ur vid
Season 4 of Originals..when Hope broke Marcel out of his prison. Such an important episode for Marcel and hope. Freya was with her weeks ago and she already looks much older? They could have done so much better with this episode..they should have had Marcel head dive on Hope while she was sleeping, shown her memories of her mother..100% would have been more emotionally triggering.
a couple people told me two videos ago that they can’t even use old scenes of hayley without phoebe tonkin’s permission and it seems like she ended her relationship with the tvdu / specifically julie plecc on bad terms so that likely won’t happen 😭😭😭
Why couldn’t the mikaelsons just gone to mystic falls. Marcel and Rebekah don’t live in New Orleans and neither does kol which means they hopped on train or a plane to get to New Orleans so they could have just gotten a plane ticket to mystic falls instead. It’s bad enough that they don’t visit, the least they could have done is actually be there in person. I will also never forget that freya just killed hope and dipped after, like come on.
Yes she does have extensions,they use extensions and lace wigs for danielle rose Russell jenny Boyd and rebecca breeds as oppose to not dyeing their hair or waiting for it to grow,but i see jenny just matching her already blonde hair with her roots that gives this balayage effect

Honestly aside from Cleo the mikaelson family should have been the the main thing in the episode no one cares for alaric and maybe I’m alone for this but the whole Lizzie thing I don’t even pay attention a whole lot
I believe we will get a full breakdown from Hope once she merges and accepts her no humanity self... Or we might not get that at all... Cuz it's weird since we saw both Elena and Caroline have a breakdown and both scenes were absolutely amazing

they said three years but it was two years in between klaus dying and the start of legacies and the twins have had two birthdays so 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Legacies starts two years after the originals. Meanwhile, the Twins 2 had two birthdays, so makes four years...., a lot of time to collect ashes. I thought it was very nice that Hope's necklace hangs on the urn. The moonlight pendant and the Mikaelson pendant, jihaa.
So was it the anniversary of Klaus and Elijah’s death or did they just decide to figure out what to do with his ashes to just bring hopes humanity back?
People are calling Lizzie and Jen JENZIE cause they think Jizzie sounds gross but I think that they just have dirty minds. LMFAO 😭

I'm disappointed with the screenwriters. Hope's inner struggle is not convincingly portrayed and far too much as a C-plot. Hell again, I have zero interest in how Alaric gets back on track. His green screen in conversation with the young Alaric (which I like much better) was technically better made, like the one with Hope. Can someone finally explain to Julie Plec that Legacies is a series the quote: "In the focus of Legacies is Hope Mikaelson, the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, who descends from the most powerful vampires, werewolves and witches. The show starts two years after the end of The Originals. 17-year-old Hope attends the Salvatore Boarding School for Supernatural Beings. The school provides refuge for supernatural beings where they learn to deal with their abilities." Unquote. - which has Hope as its main character! And Hope is hardly given room to develop here. Without Danielle and Jenny, Legacies is dead. No one watches the show because of Alaric Loser Brain Death Saltzman, Milton Moron Horrible, Caleb Traitor Useless, Ethan who? An. Maximum Cleo is an enrichment. I'm no longer sure if I want a fifth season. If there is one, I will only look at it because of Hope and Lizzie. And I very much hope that there is a good profound plot. Because Danielle and Jenny are outstanding actresses. With Kaylee they would have the chance to create a profound and good fifth season. Then we have an Elena - Bonny - Caroline - triangle again. Katy, your videos are worth watching at any time. It would be brilliant if you would accept "A Discovery of Witches" as one of your projects.
