@jefftheindianchief8279 what limit would that be? The strengths of a fiat currency are it is ephemeral, infinite, and backed only by the power company that issues it. A company can in theory outpace a 1st world GDP without making amything, force weakened economies under their control through debt flow, and laws be subverted or changed to benefit the holder of fiats in exchange for debt relief lr forgiveness at critical times like during a divisive, hotly debated, and what will become a violent election.

My HIGH SCHOOL journalism class, which I took in 1997, taught me such claims will make my employer and I liable for defamation and invasion of privacy suits! What in hell have American colleges and universities been teaching in their journalism classes since then?! "How to lose your job"? "How to go bankrupt"?

Deadspin deserves everyrhing they got coming to them on this one. They intentionally took a misleading photo of this boy only showing the black side of his painted face just to inflame more racial tensions at a time when this issue is already causing strife across the nation. I hope they are foced to pay dearly for this crime. Hopefully it will put them out of business.

If they use the the appeal to sympathy that the settlement in a law suit would make theim fire people and close down business, the response should be: "If your repeorter lied and YOUR COMPANY publised the lie, you deserve to have it damaged, if not destroyed. Your company is supposed to publish OBJECTIVE FACTS AND ABSOULTE TRUTH by your own company statements and constitutional responsibility as the press. YOU. FAILED. The people you let go to save your net worth is on YOUR head, not mine." Have them go learn a trade, or make them dig foundations for the infrastructure of the country.

Imagine if other professions were held to the same standards as journalists. Doctors could only be sued for malpractice if they were deliberately trying to kill the patient (aka murder). Engineers could only be sued if they designed their structures to fail (aka terrorism). Airlines could only be sued if the pilots were deliberately trying to conduct a kamikaze mission (also terrorism). Other professions would have to incur criminal charges in order to achieve the "provable deliberate malice" standards journalists get for a civil suit.

I don't need to imagine anything. Police have this thing called "qualified immunity" and can get off of murder charges scott free just because it was an "oopsy-daisy". No I don't want to defund the police I just want *some* of the same standards applied to them as it is to the rest of us.

Same happened in french revolution, it was not spontaneous, it was created trough intense journalist/printing efforts to rile up and spread fake stories. They wrote the past, present and when they won they wrote the future. Hundreds of years later I am taught the history they wrote themselves rather than the truth. These lies have consequences, and the consequences are intended. The lies and the people are just tools to be used to reach it, it is literally written in their doctrine. Hence: The issue is never the issue the issue is always the revolution!

What is worse is when these small victories are blown out of proportion. Ask any 2A advocate and they will gladly point out all the little victories like shall issue concealed carry or constitutional carry laws then ask them about the big gun laws like the Brady bill or the NFA. The little victories mean little when the big battles aren't even close to being fought let alone won.

The guy who said bad things: I said bad things because of my diabetes so therefore I should be forgiven. My opinion and some others in the comments section: Somehow I doubt your diabetes is the cause for you to shout/say loudly racist things into an open microphone while at a highschool game. Even if you did believe those things maybe he should have considered the consequences of saying such things outloud while wearing a headset with a very sensitive microphone that is on your head.
