My friend & I are trying to connect and it just won’t. We have the same group ID, have step up and then reset, unplugged, tried again and NOTHING! One thing is it’s bringing us closer in our frustration. Please don’t give me the website to “setup”. There are zero true instructions.

My lamp is glitching it’s not allowing me to send a color anymore it worked for a bit but now it is stuck on white, and when I try to change the color it doesn’t let me and starts to pulse frantically. I don’t know how to fix it

Does it need wifi to glow?

my lamp says that it is ready by flashing green, but if i put my hand near it or tap/hold on it then the green suddenly flashes different color green very fast and I cant fix it.

If my friend doesn't have a phone but can get one temporarily to set up the wifi for the lamp, will it still work without her having the phone or do the lamps need the phone always for them to work? Sorry if that's worded confusingly

Hi I bought this from Amazon when I put it in the charger it turned blue and never turned red and It automatically changes colors I didn’t need to wait also I didn’t get a code or anything I bought this for my friends birthday I hope it works do you have any advice

Hi I got a friendship lamp .. for my cousin and I but I can’t getting connected once I get to last step it says “ we can’t confirm your lamp was online. If it’s not responding to your touch something went wrong “ and I didn’t get any emails or anything ( I didn’t buy the friend ship lamp off the website I got from Walmart 🙃) please help I can’t get my set up .. plus when I’m reading the words on the app it saying I have to be by my WiFi .. if I do that it doesn’t work there either ! :(

Hello, me and my friend were setting up our friendship lamps, but while connecting to the WIFI we forgot to put out group ID in and now they both flash green and we don't know how to disconnect it and start over again.

If you hold it down until you find the color you want wont that shut it off ? Since you hold it down for 2 seconds it shuts it off?

No idea if you guys will ever read this but you should make an app for this, sometimes it doesn’t connect to the WiFi and other lamps,

So, I've never recieved a group ID or been able to create an account. No email has ever been sent to me even after multiple attempts to create and account and get an ID through the app and the website. Any ideas? ~ My girlfriend and I are eager to get our lamps set up but we are very confused :(

Hey so I’m trying to connect this to my WiFi and it says credentials saved after I type everything in but then it just stays on that white screen I doesn’t take me back to my WiFi screen. Any help?

Incase anyone is wondering here: If you need a code that was not sent to you, go to friendlamps.com/groupid and that link will create a group ID for you and send it to the email you put on the website. If your lamp is not sending colors or if the touch pad isn't working make sure its on a hard surface. If you lost the configure settings that popped up when you switched wifi, make sure you're connected to the friendlamp wifi and open any website browser and type 192.168.4.1 this will bring you back to the lost configure settings. Any other questions i can try to help mine works perfectly, leave a reply to my comment :)
