Only the law abiding citizens get fined and have their equipment confiscated, but all the illegal get to have illegal food stalls and the police won't do a thing, not even give them a fine, which they won't pay anyway because they have no papers.

This is very interesting to me I am trucking hot dog carts made in Tennessee out to the West Coast they are not legal but they are hiring me to take them out there and deliver them these are undocumented workers that are hired to operate but they don't really get called out because they're immigrants
Mayor Gloria's Progressive Enforcement on homeless encampments has an app called "Get It Done". How about an app for illegal street vendors? Mayor Gloria just announced an enhanced plan to help the vendors. Not sure what the original plan was. It's simple. If the cart does not meet standards and specifications, and it is repeat offenders, confiscate and destroy it.
Decent hard working law abiding people like the soto's shouldn't be punished while criminals violate the laws without fear of punishment. If governments cannot or will not enforce public safety and sanitation we don't need them.

Despicable on every level! I know all to well what it takes to open a hot dog cart and this was in the 90s. I had to have a sink w/running water & insurance of 80,000 dollars incase of food poisoning ect. This bullshit is criminal
Misinformation. There are LAWS to help insure equal opportunity in a free market. The problem is, government is more interested in promoting Marxist values like equity instead of equality, diversity over meritocracy, and inclusion that in reality means exclusion. In the past the laws were broken by industry in favor of themselves. Today the laws are twisted to benefit the lawless over the lawful. The illegal immigrant over the legal citizen.
