You can actually switch objects to other players without dropping them. Move the cursor to the object and pull the left trigger (big button) then using the smaller upper triggers (sorry, don't know what they are called!) to select the character you want to give the object to, the object is locked into the cursor so you don't lose it, just drop it into the other players inventory or equip. Hope that made sense!
Just leaving this here for the algorithm: Thanks for the well made review! It felt very concise and gave me a good idea of what to expect out of this game.
And now you remind yourself that this game was originally released in 2012. The fact that the simplicity of Legend of Grimrock is still incredibly engaging is the most telltale sign of a good game. And for those that've tried this out on the Switch... Do take a look at its sequel on the PC. The sequel is everything that this game does, and more.
Wise words! Some games that are well designed last the test of time! I've played other Blobbers since and they don't hold a dimly lit torch to Grimrock!
Most incredible thing its that the gameplay of this game its almost the same as eye of the beholder wich its like from 1992 (? Xd Long live dungeon crawlers
Iv played Operencia the stolen sun on switch and it was a great experience. This will be my first time playing Grimrock it looks really fun and same play as Operencia.
I remeber playing Sword and Serpents back in the day on the NES. And Stonekeep on the PC. And then Operencia more recently on the Switch. This is a cool genre, but Im not going to buy an 'experiment' cashgrab port.
I feel that. I remember reading the comments on a Steam forum and it felt exactly like that, a Experimental cash in. Game is good fun though, but if you have a PC then best to play on that. I actually have another game like this on my review schedule for next week called Mon Yu so stay tuned!
Dude, Stonekeep! I played that something like 30 years ago and I’ve been trying to think of that name for at least ten years so thank you for mentioning it. Cheers!
Big fan of Grimrock series but it's not really something i'd want to play on the switch From a market perspective it feels like most ppl that it appeals to probably already played it years ago, even the improved sequel came out 10 years ago
I saw the original release came out in 2012. Crazy it's here now. It's a very enjoyable experience for me to play, but I know the genre isn't very popular these days. Maybe they are gearing up for a 3rd entry?
How did the switch habdle the game? I know back in the day it made some beast rigs cry unexplainably. Looks solid that concern aside, though I would wait for 2 cause its just a better version.
Look, I love Legend of Grimrock (and LoG2), but I'm watching this video and the seemingly Switch control/interaction functions, and I can't help but think, Nope. Anyone who plays Grimrock on the PC with mouse and keyboard is unlikely to enjoy trying to manage with that interface.
