@@michaelkwee7704 when korra lost his other 3 bendings she was devastated and hit the bottom in spiritual way. She even thought of committing suicide in that scene so that made her spiritually feel some shit fuck I don't know just watch the series again.
@@sirschens2840 she finally stopped being the avatar and started being korra. She opened her heart to feel utter sadness and hopelessness. That is the moment she is connected with herself.
As an alcoholic this song messed me up bad, and still does. Hitting rock bottom is a cliche for a reason, sometimes we have to hit a point where continuing down the wrong path is harder than making the difficult change. This is also why LoK means more to me than Avatar does. I can relate to Korra a lot. Korra loses.
I always get emotional at 1:02 because that's the "when we hit our lowest point" part of the quote. It's the embodiment of "I've done all there is to do and there's nothing more to do". 4:03 fills you up with hope, like there's always a fighting chance.
This show, was so good. A lot of people disliked it because it wasn't the same as avatar the last Airbender. But that made it great. It pushed the boundaries so hard with its portrayal of race, sexuality, religion, cultures, and politics, that it was taken off of TV, and made an online release only. One of the big reasons people disliked it was how the directors took it from a more middle ages china with a bit of steam punk, to an American industrial era type of feel. The way they incorporated technology with the magic system just worked, and made the show better. Another thing that was disliked was the age factor. In avatar, the main character was 12 (technically 112). In legend of korra, the main character was 15, and the series ended when she was 18. This let them take a more mature direction with the show, and allowed for an older feel to it. The last thing a lot of people hated was the female representation. This show has strong male and female characters everywhere. There is a multi generational matriarchy who play a major supporting role here, and the main character is a young woman. The shownwas controversial in how it portrayed women and their rules.
Yeah.. I always feel like.. I'm really missing the times when Aang was alive, Roku was alive.. This part of the song always reminds me of past avatars and I miss Roku and Aang really, really much. I also get reminded of their lifes and it just makes my longingness harder for these two
one of the many reasons i love this track is the fact that its a perfect blend of the signature tracks from both atla and tlok (which often accompany aang and korra’s scenes)
2:52 And that *EPIC* moment comes your way... I remember it just like I remember MY NAME. *Korra breaks down, cries, sobs loudly then sniffs, with a side-eye* Not now, Tenzin! I just want to be left ALONE..! A voice: But, YOU called me here. *Korra gets startled by the voice* *Korra looks up at the owner of voice, a smile appears on her face* .... Aang! Aang: You've finally connected with your spiritual self. Korra: But...how? Aang: *w h e n w e h i t o u r l o w e s t p o i n t , w e w i l l b e o p e n t o g r e a t e s t c h a n g e !!* 3:21
I might LATE, but on TLOK I won't HATE. Let the truth be TOLD, it had its flaws and it was BOLD. Greatness should've been its FATE, but let's be honest, TLOK held its own WEIGHT. This song may be OLD, but it'll always be GOLD.
1:02 They were mugged, by a firebender. He cut them down right in front of me. I was eight.Bolin's the only family I have left. If anything happened to him...
are there any Obscure fans here? is it just me or the first few seconds of the song feel like the soundtrack of the game. maybe it's me, I'm a nerd XD XD
