Nah the only problem he'd have ever cared about is someone trying to usurp him - naturally it does because well... the story xD But if Goku or someone in the realm of the Saiyans, Freeza, Gero or Babadi not come along - Piccolo would be more or less uncontested on Earth...unless of course Kami decided to off himself. He'd still deem attempted coup against him a faux pas and retaliate severely.
@@princelevi3733The Cell saga is the perfect end because it’s not just this but a mix up of everything the characters had been through up until that point. From the Red Ribbon army, King Piccolo, World Martial arts tournaments, Sayain saga and Frieza saga every experience the characters had was relevant and beautifully mashed into one final saga. The Buu arc was cool too but the Cell saga was damn near poetic in a way Gohan vs Cell was like Kid Goku vs King Piccolo and Ssj Goku vs Frieza combined
the king piccolo saga was basically the blueprint for the viliancentric storytelling in DB which is along the occasional tournament arc still an integral part of the series
Yes, this is the arc that introduced the massive explosions and over the top fights, as well as the more serious and darker tone that Z became known for. This arc to the Buu arc is also Toriyama's peak as a writer imo.

He's also one of the only Earthlings that knows Goku is really the one that saved the world and not Mr. Satan. So not only is his name King Furry, but he's one of the most competent Earthlings there is in all of Dragonball.

i think vegeta and nappa rolling up and instantly vaporising an entire city wouldn't have been much fun for them, as well as what cell put them through. and if americans are anything to go by, i bet a bunch of civilians ignored what king piccolo said and took the fight to any criminals so they didn't get a chance to do much.

@@ellieysama 300 is way too huge. Goku and Piccolo Jr. had a power level of roughly 330-390 at the beginning of Z. Goku beat this King Piccolo and he didn't even train with Popo or Kami yet.
Goku’s power level at the end of the 22nd world martial arts tournament was 180 while by the end of the King Piccolo saga both him and Piccolo are said to be 260 which I think sounds reasonable. However some sources give vastly different numbers with the movie 6 pamphlet saying Tambourine was at 340, then again this is the same source that claimed the Ox King had a power level of 300.
@@Vulpas maybe not everyone in DB, there's that devil guy who could still oneshot DBZ Chiaotzu if he manages to hit Chiaotzu with his evil ray (since only kid Goku was immune to it having a pure heart). And in DB there's also Arale who should be far stronger than Chiaotzu as well.
@@Vulpas I think it needs to be stated. Chiaotzu was introduced as a legit menace. He was the first person we saw fly. He was using Freeza's death ray long before Freeza existed. The Dodon Ray was portrayed almost like an evil legend if I rememeber right.
@@vados8500 Devilman's ability wouldn't effect significantly stronger foes, that's the general rule regarding techniques and Power Levels, like how Hit's Time Stop doesn't effect stronger opponents. Devilman wouldn't be able to one-shot Whis just because Whis may not be entirely pure of heart, for example. As for Arale, it's difficult to power scale her but you're probably right.
