The amounts used are not anywhere near a crazy amount. If you pass doping controls all the time. You are not using large sums of doping products.

Doping has existed form 1904 and will most likely never stop they might as well stop the Tour France then because if every time someone wins the tour they are 99% guaranteed to be doping so then we should treat anyone that wins like they treated Lance as Lance was one of hundreds of cyclists doping he just did everything better from training, planning and execution a real super athlete doping or not. Blood doping gives you 1-2 percent. He is riding away from other riders that are on the same things he is on. There is more to it then doping. Merckx was a known doper, Riis, Fingnon, Indurain, Hinault, Anquetil all known dopers. Lemond can easily be suspected of doping because in his own words. If you beat a known doper, you are a doper.

They ever doped , the proof is publicly available. I'm not saying that this makes it right , what I'm saying is : I love cycling , and I have never found a minute of it boring. If I watch professional cycling , I have to accept that even with the most complicated and intricated doping tests , riders will probably be doped. No matter the parcours or the rules. The moment I see on television something that I don't like , I just change the channel or turn it off.

EPO, PED's, Doping whatever you want to call it. Is part of the sport. It's ugly. But we all know that. It's nasty. We all know that. Like Armstrong said, he knew there would be knives and he walked to the gun store one day and bought guns (meaning hardcore PED's). I think we all knew people were using PED's, blood transfusions, etc. just like everybody knows Mr. Olympia is a walking pharmaceutical company. We just like to believe it's NOT and believe in the magic of Amrstrong being natural. That we all could do it. He was the golden era of American Cycling. We love that story. The underdog, beats cancer, becomes symbol of perseverance and strength amongst adversity. The American prevail. But truth is, it's a dirty sport. It's always been a dirty sport. I think when you accept that. It makes it easier to watch or not watch depending on what angle you're coming from. Armstrong was phenomenal before the drugs. You have to be world class to even be in the conversation for PED's, EPO, doping etc. Those things aren't offered to mediocre riders. Only the best are considered because well they know they have a real chance at winning. Armstrong was one of those people. One of the best cyclists ever. Doped or not. Doesn't matter. He is one of the best. Hands down.
