Happens to everyone though. Rewatching one of your apm heavy own games and looking at your tech tree to see which fundamental techs you missed out on is an eye opener. Especially for these guys it's in a high level Diplo regicide where there's no safe place and potential allied snipes.

Reminds me of the muta stacking trick in SC, that's the first thing that came to mind :)

Obadiah was enemies with him for what must have been half the game at that point and nobody even realise, not even yellow who was right next to him.

@@SentaDuck well that's yellows fault for not asking to ally, diplomacy is important and obadiah abused the fact he assumed they were friends.

Laguna Libre been playing this game for years before their were even mods for this, trees never bothered me lol :)

He was almost a Champion of Kamigawa this time, while Ganji tried to be the Savior of Kamigawa for a wihle, until him and Obidiah ended up as betrayers of Kamigawa...

Yeah, but the storm. The castle and TC would've died.

1) The storm is basically a HP degen field that extends upto certain fixed distances into the map (from the edges) according to programmed rules (it kicks in at the 2hr mark in this game, for instance). Some of T90's map creators came up with it awhile ago and he's used it for various maps ever since. Look for his vids on 'AoE2 Battle Royale Mode' to see a more aggressive usage of it when he first discovered the mechanic. 2) Those objects are apparently part of the storm mechanic - they allow it to affect the islands even though the regular storm only moves in slightly from the edge of the map. You'll have to ask T90 how they work, but there it is. 3) CaptureAge is a spectating client for the game, developed by some folks from the community, that has a lot of advanced features which allow casters to instantly check a whole bunch of info and data in real time. Voobly is the 3rd party platform that AoC and HD edition is played on (you still buy it on steam tho). It currently doesn’t support DE but it might later.

@@OGT4204 People don't like the match-making. It's mostly team-games that is rare.

The game would snowball so fast as a result in 95% of cases where the strongest player becomes 2x as strong every time a player dies. However those 5% of comeback games with those settings would be epic to watch.

@@josephstevens5489 So? I don't see a problem with that. Call it "spoils of war".

@@blockededited8280 the problem being that as soon as the first player dies then the game would probably be over, not really a chance for comebacks. However, it could be good for people like me who frequently overboom, to encourage learning how to go all in in feudal.

@@blockededited8280 team games I frequently overboom, 1vs1 I'm better at early pressure. Your suggestion would help me put my 1vs1 hat on for team games.

Means sending resources to an ally (like wood, food, gold), so that they can keep producing whatever unit they wants.

@@organicspectroscopy7242 It kinda was. The player who slung orange was allied with the 2 attacking him. Basically he was in their team but also supporting their enemy.
